Well despite afew decent actors involved ( Gleason, Henriksen, McCoy) this is total B-movie fair. It takes AGES to actually get to the point of the film which is simply a Bigfoot type creature running around the woods and killing some sexy girls and afew other guys in some remote… More
Well despite afew decent actors involved ( Gleason, Henriksen, McCoy) this is total B-movie fair. It takes AGES to actually get to the point of the film which is simply a Bigfoot type creature running around the woods and killing some sexy girls and afew other guys in some remote cabins which is OK I suppose, in places, but really terrible once the creatures face is shown, laughably so. Afew nice touches here and there with the creature but most of this is painfully bad and almost plays out like the original 'King Kong' film with dumb screaming girls being grabbed by big hairy hands whilst the annoying McCoy just sits in his wheelchair (yes you read correctly) and watches with the occasional 'hey watch out!'. Gotta love the ending though, almost like a 'Scooby Doo' moment.

Bloody atrocious remake of Rear Window with a Sasquatch thrown in. Yep that's right. I suppose it's quite entertaining to see a cheap horror film try something new but by mixing it up with one of the masters of suspense you just have to laugh at the absurdity. McCoy is far too serious in the central role and the Sasquatch is simply dis horrific, and not like it should be. It looks fake, it moves fake. They should have just got the annoying, hairy ginger bloke to be the monster, now that WAS scary. So bad that some of the moments are enjoyable and there are also some genuinely jumpy moments, had we not be shown the monster it may have even been slightly scary.

Like a remake of Rear Window except with a monster. Normally these made for syfy channel films are complete shit but Abominable scores big in the "nice try" category and I'd be interested to see how these filmmakers would handle a bigger budget and a better cast because they really seem to get the most out of what they're working with. I know its a very low budget film but even the smallest animatronics in the mask would have tremendously helped the believe-ability of the creature. Even if you try to suspend disbelief it's impossible to look at the creatures face and not think its a mask.

This movie is very slow paced. Very. The creature looks very fake. It has very stale acting. But that doesn't stop this gorefest to being a very awesome yet graphic horror movie.

Low budget horror movie. It is Rear Window+Bigfoot blend. The acting is not good but has a couple of cool moments and death but for the budget it was well done.

I liked quite a bit. It took a while to get going, but when it did, it was non-stop. Some good deaths as well. I also liked how they combined Rear Window with the Bigfoot genre. A lot of fun.
