Elisabeth Shue, Keith Coogan, Anthony Rapp

Chris has a big night out planned when her boyfriend cancels on her. She agrees to babysit for a pre-teen girl and a pubescent boy. She's settled in for a dull night when a girlfriend calls her to say...( read more  read more... ) she's stranded at a downtown bus station with very seedy characters around. The three plus one of the boy's friends get into the parents station wagon for a trip to the inner city. All is well until the flat tire.

    Aside from the heavy advertisement for Clearasil, this movie is great and still a bit creepy. Brenda is the star, none of it would have happened without her.

    Perhaps the '80s-girl appealing version of Ferris Bueller's Day Off, this was constantly introduced to me but only now have I seen it in its entirety. It has its funny moments and it does have plot points with obvious displays of suspension of disbelief, but the overall impressio...( read more)n is centered on the characters which you're more than likely to (at least want to) relate to if you're in the age range.

    My Woman's Favorite movie of all time, really corny 80's style, so thats good. overall i admit it is a pretty fun movie
