MCT:July 26, 2008A scantily clad Salma Hayek was apparently supposed to distract the viewer from the boring plot and lack-lustre comedy. The biggest crime, however, was the underused talent of Don Cheadle. If you're going to make a pathetic attempt at an Ocean's Eleven plot, please don't drag down legitimate actors with you.

MCT:July 13, 2008The curse of Brett strikes again... At least it can be said that he lives up to his own mediocre standards.
The story is mundane and predictable with a very stupid conclusion, the direction is passable at best and it's left down to the considerable talents of it's cast to make something worthwhile.
Brett does do something right, and this involves making sure that everytime Salma is on screen that she looks hot and boy does she.... Aside from that, I did enjoy the relationship between Pierce and Woody. They bounce off of each other really well and I thought that there scenes together were a lot of fun and they made the flick that much more watchable.
This is trash to be sure, but it's watchable trash. -
MCT:May 21, 2008the heist is done brosnan and hayak have got the prize, but will a diamond show, temp him out of retirment, a nice little caper, harrelson is fun and brosnan getting away from bond and doing well, oh and hayak is stunning as usual, great seeing these charactors go about there business, and thinking is brosnan going for the diamond

MCT:March 16, 2008Surprisingly decent. Although it's very predictable, it's still entertaining. Nobody acts bad and Ratner really makes sure Salma's body is properly shot.

The movie has quite a unique story about temptation. Using an all star cast, this movie tries hard to be very exciting. Sadly, the audience knows exactly what is going to happen next because of the scene before. So, there arent much surprises or unique events which makes the movie quite a drag. Only the unique story and great cast prevent it to be a total waste of time. One thing that really stands out is Brosnan paying homage to James Bond by controlling a car using a remote control. I was in love with it when I first saw that scene and now Im so happy to see the comedic version of it. All-in-all, good movie to watch but not to own.

Breezy, enjoyable romp that showcases some great tropical scenery and satisfies without really impressing. The stars all inhabit their roles convincingly without much effort, and Ratner again proves his mastery of airy, fun popcorn fare. Good looks and slick direction can only go so far though, and eventually the ho-hum plot starts to wear thin. Luckily the movie sees this coming, and makes sure to wrap up nice and tidy before you get too seasick.

Good movie. The storyline wasn't as fleshed out as it should have been and so the leaps in logic are a little daunting. This movie is funny dramatic action packed and has a touch of romance.

Woody Harrelson is the bumbling FBI agent who follows them, looking to settle an old grudge. Don Cheadle and Naomie Harris provide the support in this beautifully shot, light comedy/crime drama from director Brett Ratner.

MCT:October 3, 2007It was trying to cash in on the heist flick craze of the time and I don't think it really delivered. It has a huge cast thought and it was sad not to see it used to it's full potential.

I thought Pierce Brisnan, Salma Hayek, Woody Harrelson, Naomie Harris and Don Cheadle were great in this movie, adn it was fun to watch such a mix of people in the same movie.
Pierce, I still see him as James Bond, but that has nothing to do with this. He was great and I don't think any other actor would have giving the movie this perfect way of acting the way he does.
Slma Hayek, I love that she was in it, it was so fun seeing her in this type of movie!
Naomie Harris, I did reckognize her, but the voice! If you don't know who it is when you hear the voice.. then you.. should go and watch POTC!!
Don Cheadle, he was cool and it was fun seeing him here after Ocean's Eleven ;)
I didn't see Chris Penn anywere.. but I maybe was a bit too tired.. =P
Good crime movie, one of the best! ;) -

wow what a film....this is a good crime-caper film...i think that woody harrelson plays a good part in this film....this has got good action, adventure throughout the film.....this has some good comedy scenes throughout this is a good comedy, suspense film because it keeps you guessing all the way through its just a funny film...i really enjoyed this film

A really good movie, Pierce Brosnan is great playing a character the opposite of James Bond, Salma Hayek on the other hand is rather good in this film, because she is hot. The story is entertaining and the ending is really clever.

The first Brosnan film other than the Bond series that I've seen and it was just as good if not better.. and Woody Harrelson is hilarious too
