A better anime film i have yet to see. This film is a fantastic companion to the manga. It has action and also a love story, which this time isn't a detriment. A must see!
Very beautiful and I love the ideas it presents, especially Heaven being like a huge mainframe or computer network. However, I hadn't seen the series before this, and so it took me a while to actually grasp what was going on. I think I'll go back and watch the series (and possibly read the manga) before viewing this again and see if I appreciate it more afterwards.
A beautiful animated story that is more complex and thought provoking than many in the genre. The animation is superb and the characters are beautifully drawn. One of the most interesting aspects of the story is the main villian. His motives are far deeper and more complex than a standard "bad guy". This raises the film up and makes it ask some interesting questions (1.11.07)
hey Guys, if yer woman wants to watch a sappy romance..give this one a shot. yeah, good ol k1 may be a bit wimpy, but when it comes to belle...the gloves come off.
A beautifully animated story about a group of goddesses named Belldandy, Urd and Skuld. However, in this movie, Belldandy learns a terrible secret and is forced to fight a once respected mentor.
For a good, light hearted and fun movie, Ah My Goddess is the best choice. Filled with fun characters and an interesting new antagonist and plot, the Ah MY Goddess world takes a beautiful turn in advantures and climaxes. Recommended.
This movie is breathtaking. The animation is gorgeous. I recommend seeing the series first though or at least reading up on it before watching this movie.
I love this MOVIEEE!!! SO KAWAII! Keiichi and belldadny went 2gether! Also Belldandy lost her memories....sad! BELLDANDYxKEIICHI went through the love gate and they pass! yea!
I don't think there are many animes i do not like....im fascinated with this art form....and this series/movie is excellent in both its artwork and concepts...:D
Extremely cute premise, and a wonderful introduction to all thigns Ah! My Goddess. Completely made me want to go back and get to know these characters when they were younger. The animation in this one is, of course, stunning, and the characters memorable. Definite recommendation for anyone who is a fan of shojo.
