Plot: When his parents move to Australia for six months, a California teenager is sent to Cincinnati to live with his nerdy relatives in a seemingly foreign culture.
A teenager Mitchell Goosen (Shane McDermott) loves to surf & rollerblade but his parents happen to be zoologists, are afforded the opportunity for grant work in Australia from California. Mitchell will be living with his Aunt Irene (Edie McClurg), Uncle Louie (Patrick O'Brien), & his Cousin Wiley (Seth Green) in Cincinnati, Ohio. Mitchell falls in love with Nikki (Brittany Powell) is Blane's (Owen Stadele) former girlfriend it turns out is Jack's (Chris Conrad) sister.
sweet first movie with seth green and Jack Black...cheezy inline skating movie but can't seem to stop watching it
i like this movie it has thirlls & spills. shane mcdermott. is really great. in this. if you like watching shane mcdermott. on tv you will like this movie. this is one to add to your List!
Really silly but wierd film. Not bad, Seth Green's character really makes the film, adding the most humour.
I LOVE THIS MOVIE I WILL NEVER GET ENOUGH OF IT THE FIRST TIME I SAW IT I WAS IN THE 5TH GRADE AND I STILL WATCH IT.....
This movie is worth watching for several reasons: it launched the careers of Seth Green and Jack Black, it takes place in Cincinnati, and aside from being cheesy as hell, it's amazing.
Rob Bowman, everybody! He directed other hits like "The X-Files Movie", and........"The X-Files Movie"! This movie, though, makes "The X-Files Movie" look like a masterpiece directed by God himself. To spell it out: T h i s m o v i e i s g a r b a g e.
OK, come on. For those who like this movie, get a clue. It's a POS. Seth did not even want to do it, but they needed a name, and he was as close to one at the time. They paid him a lot of cash to do it. And he was the only thing in it that was good (for me, that's saying a lot, since Seth and I have had a falling out).
I remember watching this movie on disney channel as a kid, made me want to go out and rollar blade and i love the hill. Brink also is similar to this movie.
This was a fun flick bringing back the theme of skating/sports driven plots. I.E. Gleaming the Cube. It also features a young Jack Black who delivers a classic line "Did he just call me a female under garment?" after Shane McDermott meets him and says..."What's up Brah!"
although it seemed cheesy at first, I grew to actually like this movie.. has some hysterical moments with Seth Green
The ultimate cool movie of the 90's! Surfing and rollerblading--you were definately cool! I loved seth greens "too sexy" scene!
I remember seeing this for the first time on tv and remember it being incredibly fun, need to track down a copy and see it again.
Deemed as the world's first Rock 'n Rollerblade movie, it's ultimately entertaining, especially the climatic & suspenseful skate race towards the end. Featuring Seth Green & Jack Black in earlier roles.
this is such a good movie, i remember when it first came out me and my sisters would watch it all the time.
It's Cheesey Fun but alot of FUN and a Young JACK BLACK and a Young SETH GREEN and sum good Roller Blading in it
I can't find this movie anywhere! Me and my sis made our parents rent this for us over and over when we were kids.
jack black, seth green hockey down hill rollerblading races on devils backbone, what more can u ask for
Rediculously awesome movie, probably because of the childhood memories associated with it. Main character, Mitchell Goosen, has sweet skating and hockey skills, with Seth Green at his finest as "cousin Wylie", the guy who knows hockey, "nintendo hockey". Among the finest of movie quotes with the "I'm outta here in three months bra, three months, and I could give two left testicles about you, your school, or anybody else around here" phrase Mitchell says to the obligatory town bully. see http://www.moviequotes.com/repository.cgi?pg=3&tt=94733
