January 22, 2008A great movie. Liked the poem but wasn't able to catch up. The poem was about having no fear facing ourselves. The only thing we feared of is our own existence and we need to fight altogether with the people surrounding us with their support and nothing will happen. Magnifico!

January 3, 2008I love that movie because the girl Akeelah had showed me that you can learn as much as you want. You can be a speller and a good one @ that. Once I saw this movie it showed me that the big words are really small words inform of a big one. That is why I love that movie so much!

November 26, 2007Easy translation: It's a big mistake to think or believe we are not enough. I liked this movie; there is a lot of familiar stuff in it, but a couple of nice twists. Good acting all around.
