a better than average serial killer profile of perhaps the sickest individual in the history of American crime
What should have been a one-hour A&E Biography episode is dragged out to feature length by way of repeated information and embarassingly corny re-enactments (the sound effects and screams under the narration were unnecessary and cheap). The story of Albert Fish is terrifying and grisly enough without such dramatics. The best parts of this doc are the interviews with the always interesting Joe Coleman and his "Odditorium".
Absolutely HORRIFYING. This is the only film I have ever seen that truly made me sick to my stomach.
Seen it once. Made a silent review. Not enough. This is a documentary movie about one of the most sick and perverted serial killers known to us - Albert Fish. Cannibalism, torture, serial murder, flagellation, paraphilia, religious fanaticism, vampirism...and the list goes on. Although it is mainly focused on the infamous murder/sacrifice of infant Grace, it is revealed all his life story and all those life events that in a way or another represented the building blocks of this creature's enlightenment. A very interesting aspect is the link between religion (Christianity), and the personna Fish embodied throughout his development. Very thin and fragile are the colors which paint this faith as a "love fundamented one"...just a matter of interpretation or blindness. All the details goes beyond the "normality" standards. You have no idea how far and deep the word PAIN can go... "What a thrill it will be to die in the electric chair...it will be the supreme thrill...the only one I didn't try."
Additional fact - The word "cross" in its origin (crux) means "TORTURE".
I've read all about Mr.fish and I can not believe I haven't ever heard about this movie,I really really wanna see this movie.
