MCT:June 15, 2008Is this the game?! I can't find it on IMDb as a movie with "(2007)". I think it's supposed to be "Alice (2000) VG". The game concept rocked.

Are you serious??? They're making a movie based on the creepy game Alice?? Of course, i'd LOVE to see this. It looks like it might be incredible. The ultimate Alice in Wonderland. The stuff of dreams... Or mine anyway. I'm a little worried about the casting of Sarah Michelle Gellar... It's quite possible that she could do a good job, but i wasn't that impressed with The Return, but that wasn't entirely her fault. Hmmm...we shall see...

For those of you who know nothing of American McGee, this is Alice meets the macabre. Think "Return to the Land of Oz" and "Through the Looking Glass"... infact, now that I think about it macabre added into fairy tales is like, standard issue. Hmmmm, wondering how many more rip-offs are in the near future...

Then the only thing I have now is the documents that my father used to deposit a huge amount of money in a trunk box with a security company here in this country and know one knows about this .My father disclosed this to me because I am his only child and he told me that he wants to use this money to Establish another company in overseas and he hand over the documents to me and tell me that encase anything happens to him in any way that I have to take this document and look for a foreigner from oversea, who will help me to claim this trunk box from the security company and send it out from this country to his or her country. And he told me that I should not let the security company to know about the content in the trunk box because the security company did not know any thing that is in the trunk box because he told them that it is family valuables.
Since my father's family have drove me away and I have no where to go or stay so I went to the security company to claim the trunk box, and the director have agreed to release the trunk box to me as the next of kings and the trunk box was deposited with my name as the next of kings but I see that I can not claim this on my own because I am only 18yrs I can not handle the money that is inside so that is why I contact you to help me claim this trunk box and ship it to your country so that I can be able to come to your country for you to help me Establish an investment then I will continue my Education in your country .Please I will reward you if you can assist me on this please.
I will give you the documents if you agreed to help me with trust and honesty without any disappointment. I will stop until I hear from you.

I love the game, I want to see the movie. Even though I heard they're casting Sarah Michelle Gellar as Alice. I'm sure she'll ruin American McGee's vision of Alice, but I'll still support Alice. Not Buffy, but Alice.

i have the alice game and i think the game is fun... the down side is the star of it is Sarah Michelle Gellar all movies have her now a days.

The game was badass, scared the hell out of me.If the movie will be like the game, then this movie will be prue genius.I am also a big fan of Alice In Wonderland, and the game was a more gothic outlook upon the disney version, I thought it was so cool.So cant wait to see the movie. :)

Dont think this is a good idea. For one there was little linvolving plot in the game but admittedly some very cool character design and visuals, in which respect you'd have to consdier going entirely CGI. Secondly Sarah Michelle Gellar can't really act and is totally ill suited to a role like this. If your interested in a dark version of Alice I strongly recommend 'Alice' by Jan Svankmajer who also directed 'Little Ottik.' Its an incredibly dark adaptation of the book done in the 1980's with great character design and some horrific stop motion animation using bizarre dolls. Good stuff.
