MCT:July 31, 2008An all time classic childs movie, guised well that was really a man tripping so hard on mushrooms that he made a true Disney masterpiece. And it stuck too. I wonder if he envisioned himself the worm or the cat?

Im guessing this is the Japanese version considering the directors names are "Toshiyuki Hiruma" and "Takashi"?
Anyways... I'll just rate the American version -

I LOVE THIS MOVIE. It's quite the acid trip, however, everyone wants to be in their own world sometimes. I think it was a brilliant. I've watched it literally hundreds of times and every time it still amuses me!

MCT:January 9, 2008OK heres the deal the original rocked but now in the new release versions they removed the mad hatter because he smokes a bong! that was kinda what his character was all about and growing up we never knew it was a bong and he was smoking weed only as adults does it stand out

Oh i hate this. Its so freaking weird and boring. I could not stand the film!
This is the only fairy tale which i HATE. I despise it. -
the only one of this movie I truly love is the one with humans portraying the characters...with carol channing, barbi allen, john stamos, sammy davis jr., ...just to name a few. It came out in 1985...check it out. its awesome. the walt disney one sucks.

MCT:October 6, 2007Captivating, beautifully crafted, great scenery and brilliant acting. The Illusionist had me hooked from start to finish. By far one of the better 'magician' films I've seen of late, and the ending was more than satisfactory. I watched it twice just to fully appreciate all the little details I may have missed first time round, and I loved it all the more by the end. It may have been slow in parts, but at least I wasn't left feeling confused like I was with The Prestige!

This is a wonderful movie. Especially for kids to watch. I loved it as a kid and I still love it as an adult.

I'm sorry everybody, but I truely, truely hate this movie!! It's obvious that the writer (of the book) was very doped up when he wrote it and it's boring and sad in every possible way!!!
