Having read the books (although I read them translated to Swedish) I can say that I felt a tiny bit disappointed. The movie was okay, although the books were much better.
The thing that disappointed me most was how Alyson Stoner's role talked to the audience instead of having yo...( read more)ur voice in the background and no lips moving.
I'm really no fan of characters talking to the audience so that'll drop a few points, but overall it is an okay movie that could've been much better.

Alyson Stoner did a great job in this film. But sadly I didn't like the part where that rich girl got the princess role. I felt bad for Alyson Stoner that she didn't got the princess role, but her teacher really supported her which was very good :)
