What I was hoping for: A fun, quick, action packed silly b-movie. What I got: A boring, awful even for these standards CGI, a pretty decent looking main villian, and lots upon lots of boredom.

It wasn't THAT bad. It's worth one watch, anyway.
There are worse science fiction movies on the shelves in your video store, though I would think this one more of an action movie with a touch of science fiction. I think more sci-fi would have made it slightly better.
