If you must take an Alien quiz and are a fan. Steer clear of Rabidwombat22's. For the most part it's correct but on three questions, he is absolutely wrong. He won't even own up to facts provided by Wikipedia. He's not a fan in my book.
You will not get 100% even cheating. The only way you will is if you GUESS right or ask him first. In his mind, he is correct. I was NEVER mad that I didn't receive a good score as I had aready stated that I never expected to. I just wanted to point out to him, his errors.
I'm not the only one to point this out to him.

One of Ridley's finest moments. I sure wish he would make one more dark horror movie before his time is up, his perfect cinematography in all of the movies he makes, is outstanding. This is definitely the most serious example of a monster movie I've ever, or will ever see. I absolutely loved every moment of the film, and the way in which is builds it tension to the ever impending denouement. I was terrified. Such a twisty, turny ride on that there spaceship...and never bettered.

I'D like to rank the Alien quadrilogy like this:
1. Alien - Intimidating and original, the first in the series and remains the best of its kind. Very dark, creepy and chlostrophobic. With every twist and turn in that dingy, rustic and well-used ship, there was a feeling of impending doom.
2. Aliens - First film of ITS kind with MANY imitators, since. The "Halo" games, the "Doom" movie, etc. Aliens is an admittedly slightly cheesy '80s action flick. But the set, weapon and equipment designs are astounding. It remains one of my favorite films.
3. Alien 3 - Underrated, but not an overall successful effort, either. The only reason why people DIDN'T like it is because they wanted to see more Marines. Alien 3 has rich camera and tempo and has great set design also with an eerie, gothic feel. Could've been better. Still, better than...
4. Alien: Resurrection - Awful. I don't even count this film as part of the saga. Lt. Ripley DIED in Alien 3. End of story.
That's more like it.posted 484 days ago -
Dudes, the Alien Franchise is part of our history. The first one scared the heck out of me. The Second one was awesome. Those Marines were ready to get some Alien butt. I also enjoyed Actor Lance Henriksen. The man rocks! Lance can talk to anybody no matter the age, race, or whatever. I love his work. I have a picture of Lance and I with his Lifetime Achievement Award that Lance received on June 2, 2006. If you are a Lance fan and Aliens check out my blog site at http://lafemmenikita07.tripod.com

This is the scariest movie I have ever seen. Now its not scary beacause of the scenes that make you 'jump', although it has its share of those too, but because it is so beleivable. I can imagine, say 100 years from now, that happening. Even now, 28, yes, 28 years on, it still looks amazing and totally believable. Oh, and of course Sigourney looks great in this one...

I'd like to rank the Alien quadrilogy like this:
1. Alien - Intimidating and original, the first in the series remain the best.
2. Alien: The Resurrection - charmy and witty, with the second-best plot in the franchise and imaginative tricks and gadgets.
3. Alien 3 - Underrated, but not an overall successful effort, Alien 3 has rich camera and tempo, but lacks the actual horror part 1 and 4 features.
Still, better than...
4. Aliens - ...the overrated Cameron-circus of the 80s.
Corny, with rambo NAVY-seal clichées in each and every scene.
It's got some nice touches, but overall, gravely overrated.

The original and almost the best had it not been beaten by the sequel Aliens.

Despite how old it is, it and its sequels are the best monster movies in history. The alien dragon is horrible, but very cool. A deeply psycological horror, with unmatched terror. A movie to be respected.
