The ride never got bumpy for me.
I liked the movie and the little cameo of Marilyn she was so young :)
ANYONE WHO OWNS THIS MOVIE....I have hundreds of DVD's and i am desperately wanting a copy of this. I would be willing to swap or burn a few movies for even a burnt copy of this one. Please message me xoxox
In the top 5 of all-time greatest movies. What can you say about a classic that is perfectly acted? Bette Davis' Margo Channing will go down in cinema history along with Greg Peck's Atticus Finch. Scathing dialogue propels this close look at backstage theater life. The whole c...( read more)
One of the best film-noir ever made... The story was superbly written and acted upon... This is one film that would catch your attention all throughout the end. ^_^
Fasten your seat belts , baby, your in for a bumpy ride. You can't help but love the looks Bette Davis gives in this movie... If you haven't seen this movie , you know nothing about American culture!
Incredible character drama. The human emotions are so well portrayed here that it will be hard to find other examples.
"All About Eve" es una pelicula fascinante, que nos adentra a una historia de ambicion y traicion. Es de esas cintas que nos mantienen pegados a la pantalla, esto gracias a la combinacion de un excelente guion y extraordinarias actuaciones (especialmente de Bette Davis, cuyos ojo...( read more)
Davis just plays this character so well, its a great movie if you enjoy the old classics.
The acting in this flick is absolutely stunning. The leading ladies of this film all give such powerful performances that it's difficult not to react personally when certain twists and turns make themselves evident. I mean, Jesus, Anne Baxter is a right bitch.
What a superb movie! Excellent cast, great storyline, and thoroughly intriguing. If you haven't seen it and claim to be a movie buff, you MUST see it. "Fasten your seatbelts; it's going to be a bumpy night."
A classic that remains completely relevant today, one of the best films ever made! Bette Davis was just perfection on screen.
One of my favorites. Bette Davis, albeit selfish, melodramatic, and egotistical, delivers a surprisingly likable and entertaining character. The surprise of the film is how well poor little Eve fools everyone, even the audience. If you've ever been involved in theater, you're sur...( read more)
Still so startlingly true tale about the way men and women relate to each other. Best line? "Bill's thirty-two. He looks thirty-two. He looked it five years ago, he'll look it twenty years from now. I hate men."
Kinda convincing that this was nominated for 14 Oscars. Anne Baxter and Bette Davis were so good in this one, but both were nominated, thereby ruining either's chance at it. Plus, Marilyn Monroe and the guy who voiced Shere Khan are in it.
Boy what goes around comes around. Ann played such a great part but in the end still lonely. what a cast and look Marilyn.
No one could or can act like the great Better Davis..Today's so-called Hollywood stars should take courses in acting to see how it was done by Miss Davis..
I like how this story can remain the same no matter in what sort of setting. I would love seeing a truly traditional modern updating of this.
watch this one any time you might think of watching any of these other stinkers.
Just finished watch All About Eve, I am totally amazed by the movie, I can't believe it was made in 1950, it was more than a movie, there are so much to be remembered.
It was a story about how a nobody becomes a super star, how she tried all the lies and deceptions to get the trus...( read more)
Performance of a lifetime from Bette Davis. Great story, great ensemble and absolute legend
Bette Davis is maybe the best reason for anyone to watch it, as well as the the excellent work by Manciewicz (co-writter of the script for Welles's "Citizen Kane").
Hollywood at it's knockdown, drag out "worst" -- in regard to the story itself. Fine film with some really great individual scenes.
A really great film. It's long but there are some really great performances that any movie fan should not miss.
"Fasten your seatbelts. It's going to be a bumpy night."
i absolutly love this movie it is a classic bette davis gives a wonderful proformance this is the movie where my fav. quote comes from!!
next to Now Voyager this is my very favorite Davis film. It has everything - love, hate, ambition, back stabbing and back biting. Terrific!!!
marvelous...the script, the acting n of course "BETTE DAVIS EYE" killing
