Critic Reviews

  • Mike McGranaghan, Aisle Seat

    A real sleeper!

  • Frederic and Mary Ann Brussat, Spirituality and Practice

Spunk and sass are the engines driving this comedy celebrating the nurturance of female independence.

  • Michael Dequina, TheMovieReport.com

Any film as energetically performed, entertaining, and rousing... clearly has the potential to cross the demographic barriers--that is, if given the chance.

An exciting young cast and a sense of nostalgia fuel this invigorating film. In a private girls' school, four protagonists form a club to be true to themselves and their school, which is in dire financial straits. Fun, funny, dramatic, and beautiful realised by a stellar cast.

First half... lame. Second half... funny and cute. It was worth a watch.

This one manages to deliver much more than you'd expect. It's not perfect and perhaps doesn't explore the gender war as much as it could have, but the story is heart-warming, the characters are likeable, and overall it's an enjoyable experience.

    Lame and pointless.

I feel like less of a man for watching this movie. I'm not even sure if women will enjoy this. The smart kind anyways.
