the humanity of war. while at points not too realistic and graphic (made for tv?) it still manages to be effectual. ian holm in probably his best role, but it's still just annoying. i always like watching ernest borgnine. i have nothing to compare this film to as i've never seen ...( read more)

I strongly disagree...Borgnine already is an Oscar winner (in case you did not know that), and would have been nominated for this were it released as a movie, as it was worldwide, but seen in the USA only as a TV Movie. Don't underestimate Borgnine, he is a skilled actor and one of our national treasures...
