Fantasia for adults who like seventies animation, and don't mind some Italian sub-titles.
Worth the time only if your interested in animation. It's themes and images are much more adult than "Fantasia", and it's tone more ...(read more) ironic and risque, in a mild self mocking way.
Allegro Non Troppo, does have it's beautiful sequences, obviously the musics good (Stravinksky again), and a few times one of the live action moments may have even cracked a smile on my face. But this is a difficult film to find, and though I enjoyed it, was more effort than it was worth.
I dont know if technically it is a "spoof". Its very different from FANTASIA & actually better in some ways. Sexual imagery with a sense of humor. Watch it with THE TRIPLETS OF BELLEVILLE for an animation nite.
Beautiful movie, full of life and music. Anyone can enjoy this movie, it has music, comedy, animation, thought provoking messages, and as a said before, it is so full of life, I loved it.
A bizarre artsy film that's nowhere near as solid or grand in scope as Fantasia but its a clever wink and a nod to it with a lot of bizarre risque pieces that could have never happened in Fantasia. Had a great sense of humor too.
Whoa, now this was an oldie but goodies from childhood. Use to watch it before there was even laser disc. Now that is some craziness there. But I loved it.
One of the funniest animated films ever made as well as a wicked satire on "Fantasia" that in some ways is better than the original Disney film. Bruno Bonzetto brings together great music, excellent animation and storytelling, and some truly hilarious live-action sequences to make one of my favorite animated films. Two opposable thumbs up!
Fantasia est bien bas comparé à cette expérience de dessin animé muet mélangé avec de la musique classique. Thèmes très forts, critique sociale plus poussé et humour burlesque !...
This movie will leave you feeling very much... drugged. Honestly, however, my memory is hazy and I should see this again to make a properly informed rating. All I can really remember is that boob tree.
