January 6, 2008My favorite film from the Toronto After Dark Film Festival.
While I loathe the J-horror as of late that has just become a cliche of itself, Alone stands... well, alone as not only a creepy story with a nice mood. But also a terrific storyline that really rips things up.

August 2, 2009Good film, but gets a bit repetitive by the hour mark. However, a good ending helps it out tremendously. I went in thinking that if it's half as good as the amazing Shutter, I'll be happy, and it was a bit more than half as good...so I'm happy.

August 24, 2008Excessive use of scares cliché that made me lost the interest for moments and predictable at the 10 minutes, at least for me. Not as good as Shutter, but the director did a regular job.

August 2, 2009I really love asian movies but this one is quite boring because the plot is so predictable. For those who don't watch too many horror movies this one can be a surprise and the twists can work well, but I'm used to this kind of plot so nothing in the entire movie amazed me.
