  Along Came Polly was a disappointment for me. I expected something very funny, and very well done. Unfortunately this film has minor laughs and wasted good cast on a terrible film. This film could have been much better, unfortunately it misses the mark. Along Came Polly could have been a good film, unfortunately the films ideas fall apart halfway through the film, and the film become tiresome and boring after a while. Along Came Polly could have been a good comedy, but the jokes simply fall flat, and most of them aren't that good to begin with. At times, I did laugh, but this is a fairly forgettable film that really has nothing good going for it. The film could have been much better, and it shows. I wasted my time watching this, and this one of the worst comedies that I have seen. I felt very bored watching the film, and half the time the jokes were so pathetic that it was painful. The film is barely funny, and when it is, it's too little, too late. The film is a missed opportunity, and despite its good cast, fails to be funny or entertaining. Along Came Polly misses the mark in terms of a good comedy. The jokes don't hold up, and most of try too hard at getting a laugh out of you. The film doesn't really do anything that's interesting or entertaining. I was bored watching it, and though it had some good laughs, it wasn't enough to be an effective comedy. In terms of a good comedy, Along Came Polly is not that film. The film is awful and the cast is wasted on such a poor script.

  I didn't expect all that much of ALONG CAME POLLY--it's a rom-com, and those just aren't my thing. There were quite a few solid parts to it, but overall, it was an unrealistic, often-disgusting, ever-so-slightly original love story. Although Jennifer Aniston, who delivers some well-done acting, stars as the title role (Polly Prince), this is really more of a Ben Stiller comedy (well, I should just say FILM--does he really do anything but comedies?) Ben Stiller, sadly, just didn't have the time to perfect his role, as he was also spending much of 2004 working on two other successful comedies (DODGEBALL: A TRUE UNDERDOG STORY and MEET THE FOCKERS). It's clear, watching this one, that ALONG CAME POLLY was his last priority for a film to actually make beyond the average level.

Crocodile Tears :) I love this movie & with Jennifer Aniston in it, it makes it even more perfect :) Such a cute movie :) Just love it :) Perfect for when you're looking for something goofy, adorable, and cute :) :) :) :) :)

  i thought this was really entertaining and good fun to watch! a good romantic comedy! The film stars Ben Stiller who plays Reuben Feffer and Jennifer Aniston who plays Polly Prince the film is about a guy who falls for a woman and then tries to get together with her and things go well for a while until they have an obstacle which they have to overcome, thereby bringing them closer together in the end when true love triumphs over all. Not only that, but this film also features the twist that two of the characters are, like, total opposites. Will opposites attract.. Wow! It is quite deep on so many levels. i enjoyed it,yes its predictable but cute..

  A decent Rom-com that both sexes should find funny. Stiller plays a guy who doesn't take risks in life. When his wife cheats on him on his hooneymoon he meets an old friend who shows him a different outlook on life.

  Nice film. Funny and entertaining, Baldwin Brown and Azaria are very good in supporting roles but I found Seymour Hoffman a little annoying but maybe that?s because he was suppose to be, anyway, I liked it. Oh, and I think Ferrets are cool.

  I can take or leave the love story. As tropes, Reuben isn't THAT cautious and Polly isn't THAT flighty. They seem to be Alvy Singer and Annie Hall Lite. I am glad, however, that the movie doesn't reaffirm the institution of marriage in the end. The real gems are the supporting performances: Hank Azaria as Claude, a refreshingly non-demonized homewrecker, and PSH as Sandy, the cloddish, dope-smoking, bro. I love it when dramatic actors give wonderfully comedic turns.

  Another romantic Ben Stiller comedy with plenty of embarrassing and gross scenes, pretty much like he made them since the hilarious There's Something about Mary. This is far from being en par, though. Some of the jokes are just too gross and unnecessary and there is actually not much of chemistry between Stiller's and Aniston's characters. Let's face it, the whole romantic opposites attract thing aside: they would not even get along in real life. What saves the movie is Philip Seymour Hoffman's performance of a wannabe acting star, Alex Baldwin as boss and the fact that Aniston never looked better. It's still only an okay movie. But the question remains, how many of such films can Ben Stiller make?

  Wow, I wanted to love this movie, but it was just, "OK." I am a big fan of Stiller and enjoy watching Aniston as well (and the cameos were pretty great too), but the comedy felt diluted and bland.
