Another Stiller-Must see. If anything can go wrong, it's "Stillers-Law" :) Super cute, love J. Anniston, a perfect Polly!

At first i wasn't really into the humor that this movie has shown. Then I watched it a couple of years after it was released and instantly loved the movie. Ben Stiller is the kind of guy for these kiind of movies.

one of my fave lines: I've been living my life, okay? I've been in good relationships and I've been in shitty ones... and I've moved alot... and I've been happy, and I've been sad... and I've been lonely... and that is what I've been doing. Which is a lot more then I can say for some freak, who thinks he's gonna get the Ebola virus from a bowl of mixed nuts.

Another one of those brainless romantic comedy movies. Worth watching only if you're a fan of Ben Stiller or if you like watching romantic comedies.

Ben Stllller has had such a run of good movies, (with the exception of The Heartbreak Kid') and I really like Jennifer Aniston in it.

Such a funny movie. I actually watched it like four times in a row. I really did. It has parts that you laugh at every time you watch no matter what. Philip Seymour Hoffman you usually see in a lot of serious rolls. Here is could just be funny and ridiculous. He was a great added comedic talent to the film. The rest of the cast did great too.

Another charming & witty chick-flick. I, actually, think these 2 are cast well opposite one another...their humor styles compliment each other. Loved it!

Philip Seymour Hoffman is the highlight of a Stiller comedy which is wonderful viewing for anyone, but struggles to keep enough comedy running for 90 minutes.

A fairly in between film I found, in that it wasn't overrun with comedy, but it didn't exactly cover any other genre, good though.

HaaHaa! This was funny! I loved it when Ben Stiller was on the toilet and then he looked at the ferret because there was no toilet paper!

Other than a surprisingly light hearted and funny performance by the usually serious P.S.Hoffman, a genaric and unfunny chic flick. Three stars to Hoffman, half a star to anything else funny that might have happened (which wasn't much).

"It's an art opening for this Dutch guy, Jost. His art sucks, but he used to sell me really good pot."

Along Came Polly is your usual conventional by-the-numbers romantic comedy that is good for nothing more than a good laugh. As usual, these kinds of movies are reeled out frequently by the studios just to soak up some light money.

As the film opens, Reuben Feffer (Stiller) gets married to the girl of his dreams named Lisa (Messing). But while the two are enjoying their honeymoon, Lisa dumps Reuben for a muscle-bound nudist French scuba instructor (Azaria).

Reuben is heartbroken, but his best friend Sandy (Hoffman) encourages him to move on, get over Lisa and find someone else. At a formal party, he meets Polly Prince (Aniston) who was an old class mate of Reuben's. The two strike up a good friendship, although Reuben wants to take things further than that. But Polly, who's scared of commitment, is reluctant to move to the next level and troubles ensue.

Like I stated before, this is strictly a by-the-numbers affair that isn't a masterpiece by any stretch of the imagination. There are a few good laughs, most of which are toilet oriented. Like most of Ben Stiller's films, his performance is good (although he always does the same type of role) and there are some funny, witty lines that he delivers. That said, the laughs are only occasional and there are very few that are actually memorable. And, like all movies in this vein, there are moments when the fun is over until the very end when things turn out okay. The same old formula is becoming very tiring!

Jennifer Aniston is at her usual standard here. She seemed to resemble her character from Friends in a sense. Philip Seymour Hoffman is actually pretty decent in an unusual change on his usual role. I never would have expected someone of his stature to pop up in a romantic comedy like this.

Along Came Polly was never meant to be anything groundbreaking or any sort of a masterpiece...and it isn't. That said, it isn't terrible either. I enjoyed the movie as it is told well and has some good gags (being from Australia, some of the Aussie gags had me in stitches). Nothing we haven't really seen before, but worth a rental at least.

Really funny a lot of funny jokes and embarrassing scenes,Ben Stiller did a great job in it and played a really good character so did Jennifer Aniston and Alec Baldwin, but the ONE person who really stood out in the film was Philip Seymour Hoffman who playes a one time actor who actes really sellfish because he thinks he better than every one else. I also liked Hank Azaria in it but he still wasent in it a great amount it also has lots of good cameos like Missi Pyle and Masi Oka.(Good film i recommend it to people who like good Ben Stiller comedies)

Another romantic Ben Stiller comedy with plenty of embarrassing and gross scenes, pretty much like he made them since the hilarious There's Something about Mary. This is far from being en par, though. Some of the jokes are just too gross and unnecessary and there is actually not much of chemistry between Stiller's and Aniston's characters. Let's face it, the whole romantic opposites attract thing aside: they would not even get along in real life. What saves the movie is Philip Seymour Hoffman's performance of a wannabe acting star, Alex Baldwin as boss and the fact that Aniston never looked better. It's still only an okay movie. But the question remains, how many of such films can Ben Stiller make?
