I remember reading an article on what is considered to be a surefire oscar winner, "Amelia" had three of those things going for it. Bio-pic, main character dying (Um... spoiler alert.) and Hilary Swank. Problem is they could have made Amelia Earhart a mentally challenged lesbian ...( read more)

I thought this film was really well made and wonderfully written but was let down by its savage casting. Swank was unconvincing in her role and although it was a fair effort, she failed to capture the enigma of Amelia. I couldn't help but feel that the lack of energy in this film...( read more)

I am an avaiation fan. this film shows, in a concise fashion, using some flashbacks, the tale of America's most famous Aviatrix. I am glad that I Saw it in the theatre for some of the scenery!
