Beautiful cinematography, at first I didn't really like the Amelie character but after a few more viewings she grew on me as well as the love story..

Odd and very quirky comedy about a girl who sets out to help other people along the way in life, but still can't help herself. Has a lot of extremely funny parts but not for everybody especially people who have to listen to a foreign language and read subtitles at the same time.

A funny and entertaining film. Quite odd, at first, but it got me hooked into the story with its quirky protagonist and elegant French setting. Good film, Mr. Jeunet.
On a side note, I wish Audrey Tautou did more films like Amelie rather than drivel like The Da Vinci Code. -

Quite brilliant French movie and Audrey Tautou is cute as the title character Amelie.
