    This film was recommended to me a number of years ago by a girl I had recently became friends with. Being a French romantic comedy, I would admit it was a film I would have normally overlooked. I am glad to say I did watch it and I am much the better for it.

    It is quite simply a beautiful, uplifting, quirky tale. I quickly fell in love with the magical world of Amelie, just as I fell in love with the girl that recommended it to me. We are still together to this day and this film will always remind me of when we met.

    I absolutely loved Amelie. It's funny, moving and beautiful. It's the best feel-good movie and if you don't fall in love with Audrey Tautou's performance, I'd consider you heartless. =D

    Here's how you end up with such a pretentious and unoriginal film like Amelie:

    Add:
    * 3 parts of Three Colors: Red
    * 1 part The Double Life of Veronique
    * 1 part Chungking Express
    * a dash of Fallen Angels

    Dilute 100x with forced charm and unfunny gags.

    Jeunet is such a hack

    If you guys love this movie you must watch her in "He loves me, he loves me not". She makes crazy look so adorable.

    Great movie! We watched it in our Grade 12 French Class and it was awesome. That clip doesn't compare to the movie. Another good french movie is... "Love Me If You Dare" or as we all called it: "Cap ou Pas Cap"!

    The clip is the short Jeunet made in 1989 before he started making feature films. This short later inspired him when making Amelie...

    Amelie is a great film, one of the best...

    The clip on Clip & Spoof isn´t Amelie, or at least not from the Amelie movie. So do not judge the movie from this clip.

    But about the real movie:
    When you have seen Amelie, you couldn´t go away without a smile on your face.
