excellent movie especially the story. i didn't expect the end in anyways and the movie has a good mesage to learn.
Excellent, brilliant and genial.
A movie based on a pure and hard truth of life showing that a simple event can change it's course.
Excellent work starting with the director and ending in the actors, standing out between them, the brilliant interpretation of Edward Norton.
This movie is awesome for many reasons. But it is in it's ability to explain how racism is a social disease, and a disease of the mind (in the same way that alzheimers is a disease of the brain), that makes this movie a masterful piece of work.
Question! Has anybody heard anything about American History X 2. I've heard that it was to be released in the fall of '06. I'm pretty sure that that's a bunch of crap, but I do want to know if anyone has heard of this.
Amazing Movie... We've watched it at School At since Then I Love It.. It Contains Deep Meanings & Purposes...Good Job!
Amazing movie. Very well made and acted. But i wish they should have made it a little more extreme in the action.
The nazi party could have been better. The prison part was good.I did'nt even have a clue that edward furlong's sonna die at the end.
The past part in balck & white and the present in colour was very well thought of .
Edward Norton delivers an astounding performance. The whole movie is great and carries an important message. They should show it in schools.
I think I must have been about 10 when I first saw this film. It has remained my favourite movie ever since.
The only movie so far that's capable of making me need to turn away, no matter how many times you see it.
Not only does it send a great message and have a great storyline, performed by brilliant actors, but the way it is told is just great. The way it allows the audience to seperate what's in the present and what's it the past by colour and black & white picture. And also how it is all told over the course of two days through the essay Danny writes. So well thought out!
This movie was a good movie. I will not go as far as that, it could have been great but just a little unreal. try "the believer" if you want a more simple yet complex look at race relations.
A movie that makes you flinch no matter how many timesyou see it. Edward Nortons character is absolutly believable. What makes this movie so incredible is that it makes you take an uncomfortable look at the dark parts of your own soul.
Man like seriously i didn't even know that this movie existed...thanx 2 ma' cuz..shaila..i found out about it..its one of da' best movies done..i mean directors should focus more on these issues..not stupid shit that is not even worth a ur money!!!
This was a real ass movie! That is why it is one of my favorites. Edward Norton and Edward Furlong did an unbelievable job! Ex-Art of Noise Pianist Anne Dudley did a wonderful job with the soundtrack as well!!
This Tony Kaye film is an EYE-OPENER. One of the best social-realist films...EVER! By the way, Ed Norton was a brilliant actor! ^*^
I agree with r3gorman strongly i sence they have the blacks only collages i thin kwe need white collages to!!!! sorry if any thing spelled wrong
edword norton looked pretty bad ass in this movie, and the acting was so awesome. they need to make another movie like this!
i cry everytime i see this movie. it's so well done and you can feel yourself changing throughout the movie along with derek and danny. it's scary because a lot of the things Derek tells the kids in the D.O.C., like the stuff about illegal immigrants, is things that a lot of people agree with, showing just how eaisly all these people can get duped in this lifestyle. Edward Norton and Edward Furlong both truly give amazing performances. I love everything about this movie. It's quite possibly my favorite of all time.
I'm pretty sure you missed the point metallicman.
This movie was amazing, definately unforgettable.
I love this movie... It has a powerful meaning behind it. Makes you think why some people are so racist...
ace film trys to show why white ppl are in white power groups to start with and how the ppl with power are making what once was ahome for white ppl in to a shit hole for them now, and how by bein in a whitepower group you can try gettin bak what is yours but there is always price "its about time we anti up and do something about it " gd film
i think they should hav made darek kill all the niggers and danny should just not hav got shot by 1. coz i mean danny is the man! and then wahm a fucking nigger shoots him. wat a coward. anywhore this movie is great. love the speechs. like at the dinner table fucking awesome and b4 the rek that shop. that speech is the best. love the movie untill daren went soft. GREAT MOVIE!
Does anyone else tear up at the end? I've seen this movie tons of times and it still gets me!
