First of all, this is (of course) a film for people who want to laugh (mainly at others screwing up). Especially Jim (Jason Biggs) seems to get himself in the most embarrassing situations over and over again. But there are other funny moments too, with the Stifmeister (Sean William Scott), Ozzy (Chris Klein), Kev (Thomas Ian Nicholas) and Finchy (Eddie Kaye Thomas). Mainly the film is about what moves people my age and any other age most, the opposite sex. All that obsessing and wondering about the other (does he / she like me, do I love him / her?) is really greatly portrayed and realistic. Of course the people in the film are all not too shabby looking and there are some sick and perverted moments in the film, but you really have to look at the bigger picture. You have to look past the babes, the booze and the parties. You have to look past that ?every guy's perfect summer' and see that this film is not about sex, it is not about being sexy and cool. This film is about being whoever you are, being true to yourself and your friends, but most of all it is about love. I mean the latter thing may not be true for all characters in the film (e.g. Steve Stifler), but it sure concerns the ?main characters' life (Jimbo's life). The rest of the film is however pure fun and freedom, that any college student hopes to get. I sure hope my first summer of being in college will rock like that

Fantastic sequel to its predecessor. Continuing in its trend of seriousness, it shows the maturity of our hapless characters and the madness they have to over come to reach the point where become men, and they achieve it. Stiffler's just even more ch...(read more) ildish then before which is fantastic

You're a disgrace to men everywhere. I mean, look at the Stifmeister. I got laid 23 times this year, and I'm not counting the hummer I got in the library stacks, baby.

Here's a new idea for you Stifler. You find a girl, you two become best friends and you don't bother counting how many times you have sex with each other you just laugh at the people who do count.

Here's a new idea for you. I'll get you a spoon so you can eat my ass.

    Directed by: James B. Rogers
Starring: Jason Biggs, Alyson Hannigan, Chris Klein, Thomas Ian Nicholas, Seann William Scott

    Genre: Comedy/Romance

    Running time: 105 minutes

    My review:

This is an absolutely hilarious film. This is definitely one of the funniest films that I have ever watched. I have seen 5 of the 6 films but this one is the best. American Pie 1 and 3 are awesome aswell but 4 and 5 are absolutely terrible. This is one of those films that I find that a sequel is better than its prequel. This is one of the greatest teen films of all time. American Pie is the greatest teen series of all time. The story of this film is basically After a year at college, the American Pie gang return home as sexually frustrated as ever. Jim hasn't repeated his single conquest, Finch still lusts after Stifler's mom and Kevin pines for his lost love. This film features pretty much all the same characters as the first film. All of the characters have different attitudes and different personalities of themselves in this one. Jason Higgs returns to portray Jim Levenstein once again and is funnier than ever. Jim makes all sorts of mistakes in this film and cocks things up for some of the characters in the film. The funniest film that Jim does is the glue scene. I went hysterical at that scene. I could not stop laughing. Jim is preparing for Czechoslovakian girl Nadia to see him and to have sex with him. He is nervous about it incase he thinks he wont be very good at doing it. Jims friends Kevin, Finch and Oz return aswell. Even Stifler returns in this film who is portrayed by the hilarious Seann William Scott. Seann William Scott is perfect for Stifler because you can tell with Seann that Stifler is obsessed with sex and women and also of what he says when he is in a hyper mood. The funniest scene with Stifler is the bit when he, Finch and Jim are inside the house of two young girls and presumes they are lesbians and there is a gay kiss aswell between Stifler and Jim. I love that scene! I also love the bit when Stifler interrupts the phone sex between Oz and his girlfriend Heather who is portrayed again by American Beauty star Mena Suvari. Seann William Scott is definitely the best actor in all three of the original American Pie films. Eugene Levy makes me laugh in this film aswell as Jims dad. His name is not confirmed apart from his last name which is obviously Levenstein. He comes in awkward times for Jim and states embarrassing things to Jim which are actually true. This one is the most emotional of all the American Pie films. This is an exact sequel which follows exactly from the first American Pie whereas the third American Pie doesnt exactly follow even though that is a sequel. This is a rival with Juno and Road Trip as favourite teen films. This is definitely a fun film for anyone who is in the mood for a laugh in front of the TV particularly on a Saturday night.

Hate the American Pie movies, idolize the degeneration of society in a disgustingly unfunny fashion.

I actually liked this one more than the original. It was more hilarious, which I didn't expect. Seann William Scott made this series what it is. Without him, it would be a flop.

As great Chinese philosopher once say: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." It's wisdom that the folks behind the camera here seem to have taken to heart, for American Pie 2 is not so much a sequel as a re-bake. Every element of the original is so faithfully - some might carp cynically - reproduced, you'd be forgiven for suffering a sense of d?ja vu. But you'll probably be laughing too much to notice.

It's almost unprecedented in sequels to get the whole cast back together again, but - through the miracle of contractual obligation - absolutely everyone is present and correct, right down to the kid with the monkey. The excuse for the reunion (apart from the small fact that the first movie cost $11 million to make and grossed $150 million) is that it's now summer vacation after the first year of college, and the kids have rented a house at the lake. To dodge the holiday blues, they're amusing themselves by partying, hopefully pursuing lesbians and getting their hands glued to their penises.

Pie 2 ruthlessly riffs on the original set-ups, mostly with success. Liked Jim's internet strip? Witness his bizarre "retard trombone performance". Enjoyed Stifler quaffing jizz at his party? Then you'll probably get a kick out of Stifler getting pissed on at his party. It's the kind of shameless repetition that would be damning if the sequences weren't so well-handled and the ensemble cast as goofily likeable as ever.

With J. B. Rogers (a veteran first assistant director of smut on the likes of Dumb & Dumber, There's Something About Mary and the first American Pie) taking over directing duties, writer Adam Herz has tweaked the comedy graphic equaliser a little. Ratcheted up are Seann William Scott's testosterone-addled Stifler, and the majestic Eugene Levy - possessor of cinema's finest comedy eyebrows - as Jim's incredibly excruciating dad. More muted is Chris Klein's Oz, whose attempts at phone sex are a rare low point.

There has also been a slight softening of the vulgarity, although those of a politically sensitive nature may detect a faint whiff of unwelcome homophobia during a sequence in which the boys are invited to fondle, kiss and generally molest each other by a pair of porn-mag "lesbians". That said, the scene is certainly redeemed by being so damned funny. Whether our appetites will stretch to a third slice remains to be seen, but for the moment, seconds are very welcome indeed.

this is the only american pie movie I've seen and I've only seen it once, and i was like 14 or younger when i saw it. That' when it should have been the funniest, and it just wasn't.

I wouldn't jeopardize my EBay account status if this was a scam. My feedback is real and I will answer you on any question! Here is what you do. Click on the link below, register, pick an account type (referral is the easiest) and complete just 1 offer (Very important that you complete the 1 offer otherwise your account will sit in limbo until you do). This is not like other sites where you need to complete one offer on 2 or 3 different pages!!! And a lot of these offers are FREE trials with nothing else to buy...No commitments!!!

There are plenty of cool offers to choose from such as Blockbuster online, Stamp.com, Netflix, Gamefly which are services you would regularly sign up for anyways and their all secure networks, why not use them to get a free PS3 System or cash (I did the Stamps.com for a 30 day free trial and it never cost me a penny and I received credit for it the same day). Look at the offers and choose the one that works for you. After signing up and completing your one offer, simply refer 8-13 people (depending on the FREE prize you choose) to do the same under your link (just post the same thing as I have on eBay, and you'll get your referrals before the auction even ends.)

Then they will ship your Free gift or your selected item for free; No Joke, 100% REAL!!! The reason these companies make money, is because most people don't bother getting all the referrals. All you have to do is post it on EBAY! They use us as advertisement by word of mouth which saves them tons of money which goes toward yours and my free gift. These are legit companies such as Blockbuster, Netflix, Gamefly etc... You can copy my listing if you want. You must use your own authentic link though. You will get your own personal link after your orders placed.

This sequel to the hit teen coming of age comedy of '99 comes of as a bit like a clone of other summer movies, and not as much fun.
