Cape Cod, 1973: sisters Madeline and Daisy Goodhart arrive in the scenic beach town to live with their loving father -- the owner of a small, home-based furniture business. As the two girls do their best to fit in at their new high school, a secret threatens to tear their family apart: their father is gay, and he's in an intimate relationship with his business partner.
