I'll take Cabin Fever any day, something that's smart, has a twisted sense of humor and a sense of reverence for classic horror of past. This flick was a snoozer. How many times can you watch the girl get knocked around by the spirit? The plot is highly repititious and the movie is bookended by some really forced present day scenes that add nothing to the story. It's not a ghost story, and whether or not it really happened is up to interpretation. Me? I remember when doctors blamed things the Black Plague on man's sins ... so I'm not convinced just because some doc 150 years ago said so. Courtney solomon, the wroter/director, is a terrible filmmaker, and anyone who is skepticle should rent his first flick, 2000's stinkfest Dungeons and Dragons. This is one of the worst films of the year, and really, if you want to bring in group thought, the critical consensus at Rotten Tomatoes agrees.

WEll I don't really give a rats ass what Nate thinks of it .He is just one of the very, very very few who thought this movie was crap!!!. Just shows you their taste in movies I guess. They must love those hacke em up movies that are low budget and so cheesy that they ooze with no talent actors and piss poor acting.AKA Cabin Fever for example.

I cannot believe the warmth this terrible, amatuerish, hilariously awful frightless flick is getting.

As horror films go I guess this is my kind of scary film-probably because it's not simply blood and gore but it has a story to it-a true one at that-and we are left feeling uncomfortable and stunned at the end. I can't give to much away as I recommend you see it for yourselves but this I felt was terrifying with very convinving performances.
