Plot: In this second Q&A with Kevin Smith he now enters the homes of some of his fans in Toronto and London.
When describing his wife, Kevin Smith says, ?She is this weird enigma that I have 50 yrs to figure out.? I dunno, I liked that. Same kind of stuff as the first evening, but nonetheless entertaining. He entertains me.
Kevin Smith rulez! So I trueeely wanna see him here ^^
Specially when you only hear him talk only once in almost all his movies xD
Evening Harder is the best Subtitle to a movie about a director talking to a group of college kids. EVER. In my opinion.
Not as good as the last one. This one had two whole shows back to back instead of the many shows edited like the last one. This made it suffer as we had to sit through all the boring stuff and not a lot of the good stuff.
These just as funny Performaces from Kevin Smith show why the guy is one of the best comedy writers out there. VERY funny as well.
If you like Kevin Smith or his movies... you'll like this. It's more like interactive stand-up. Definately a must see for the fans.
Funny stuff. Great watching him be himself. Love his story telling, easily sidetracked into long funny stories. Great watch for any Smith fan.
The man can ramble. It takes him almost two hours to answer what seems like 3 questions in Toronto, while kissing ass to every Canadian stereotype from hockey to Timmy's. You know what? It's awesome!
I laughed so hard I almost peed my pants. well not really, its a figure of speech people....seriously...um
Just as fast-paced and hilarious as the first. Kevin Smith is a genius, and absolutely captivating. He can go off on a stream of consciousness for upwards of half an hour, and still remember to swing back and make a punchline. It's fantastic.
i like kevin smith and there were some really funny parts but i felt he took to long to answer really simple questions
First and foremost I am not a fan of Smith's films. Other than Dogma I've hated them all (actually I stopped at Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back). However I enjoy listening to his Q & A/Stand-up act. He's funny, crude and informative plus I admire anyone who has the balls to not mince words when it comes to those "Hollywood types". Now I just need to go back and watch the first one.
Not uproariously hilarious or anything, but Smith is pretty sharp and funny. Unfortunately it lacks much insight into the film making process and there aren't any juicy gossip bits, so it's mostly stories about Smith and his wife. A Q&A session filmed after Clerks 2's release would be much more interesting.
I was there! I was there! I have to see this. At the end, Mews throws a Timbit into the audience and it landed right in my hands, 20 rows back. ...I still have it. (It's not nearly as good as the first, though)
These are brilliant and hilarious DVDs, the first one was awesome and the second one is, well... more of the same. If you are addicted to his movies, commentaries, and podcast and you don't have this or the first one you are lacking some stuff.
Most of this wasn't filmed too long after the first Evening with Kevin Smith... so many of the same questions.. and at least one of the questions was pointless... (and incorrect by the time the dvd was released.. i.e: another Jay and Silent Bob movie.. or another clerks movie.. answer being no to both)
I love this stuff, Kevin Smith is awesome and funny as usual! Just as good as, if not better then the first one!
Second part of this dvd series consisting of director Kevin Smith doing Q&As, this time in Toronto and London. This one is much more straightforward in its setup, and Smith goes on a little longer, we don't see him answering as many questions, and it wasn't quite as entertaining as the first one. Still a necessary watch for any fans, though.
not as funny as "An Evening with Kevin Smith" but still funny and very interesting!! a must for any Mr. Smith fans
Nice addition for any Kevin Smith fan and a look behind the films at who makes them happen. great comedy presence but not to be watched in one sitting.
this is one of those things that you must own if you like the works of kevin smith. own it watch it and when you get done watch it again... chances are you missed something.
Its just Kevin Smith talking shit, your not gonna watch this if you aren't already a fan of the guy. Though you should, as he's an entertaining fucker...
I love the second installment! After watching the first Evening with Kevin Smith I was bummed out it was over. I mean, I could sit and listen to this "silent" man speak for days if I could! Then when the second one came out I ran clammoring for it... and it definitely did NOT leave me disappointed.
And hell, who doesn't like a little 'fanny fun' now and then?
