  Kevin Smith has such an uncommon gift in the realms of story telling and situational comedy that he can make even a nearly four hour Q and A session seemingly fly by. If your a Smith fan this is comedic gold. Even if your not a fan you may find a lot to like here.

  There are a few funny stories, but most of the time spent watching this movie is wasted on watching people applaud and Smith jokingly ask college students to blow him. He's charming, but even after watching him for about four hours, I don't feel like I know him any better than I did before. That said, I will never forget the story about Mewes blowing anything phallic in a rec center.

  Kevin Smith for the efew that don't know is famous for his Jersey series and widely known as Silent Bob, takes the podium at colleges around the country and we are treated to stories from his time within the industry, from his involvement in the latest 'Superman' installment to his experiences on set for his own flicks. I can honestly say that, throughout the long running time, not once did I find myself looking at the clock in boredom. As can be seen with such movies as 'Clerks.', 'Dogma', etc., Kevin Smith has a knack for story-telling. Smith is hilarious and has more than enough to talk about. I have been a fan of his since I seen Clerks during its theatrical run. If you've ever wanted to insight into the mind of Smith, this is the movie for it. He shares stories from the set, explains his views on religion and sexuality, and keeps it consistently entertaining. As an added bonus, Jason Mewes makes an appearance for one of the sessions, and while he doesn't add much to the conversation, it's cool to see the pair of them together. Smith's interactions with the audience, and a couple hilarious phone calls, make the long running time worth it. All serious fans of Kevin Smith must make a point to watch this at least once.

  If you are a Kevin Smith fan then you MUST see this DVD. It is a series of lectures that he gives at various campuses, but it stands as two of the funniest DVDs I have ever rented. They parallel and sometimes even surpass some of the humor and heart in many of his movies. He discusses more than just Clerks, Chasing Amy, Mallrats, Dogma, etc...(very interesting portion though re: the church's reaction to "Dogma" and how Clerks got made), he talks about the world he lives in and how he sees it. Ever true to his Jersey roots and own sensibilities there are times this brilliant man will have you in tears of laughter. Wait until you hear about his encounter with Prince. OY! There is even a cameo with Jason Mewes for all you ?Can?t get enough of Jay and Silent Bob people out there.? Enjoy Kevin Smith fans, Enjoy...this one's for you.

It's very entertaining, but you'd definitely have to be a fan of the dude to enjoy it - so if you're one of those people, check it out.

  Silent Bob speaks! Watching Silent Bob in the movies is fun, especially when he puts off the facial expressions and shares some words of wisdom. With this, Kevin Smith shares his words of wisdom around different college campuses. It plays almost like a stand up concert, because, despite it being a Q & A, he shares stories with his audience and they are very funny and well spoken. A lot of fun to watch, and easy just to watch in parts at a time.

  I caught part of this on cable one night. He talked about Prince for over a half hour and it wasn't even that interesting. I'm sure Smith is a cool guy but he's really come to bore the shit out of me. Perhaps if we were neighbors...

  Kevin Smith is a born entertainer. He is such a fantastic public speaker and he knows his audience well. The stories he tells are fascinating to any movie fan. Well worth a watch, if only for the Superman story alone.

  Kevin Smith is a pretty funny guy. He has some great observations about the movie-industry and trying to get his Superman script - which would have been more fun than the one they did make - made. This leads him to Tim Burton and how stupid Edward Scissorhands is. Hey, everyone's entitled to their opinion. He also comments on how bad a superhero movie Burton's Batman is. No problem until you watch the Batman extras disc and, lo and behold here's Kevin Smith talking on a film he thinks is stupid. One day, when he grows up and stops with the teenage dick and stoner jokes, he may produce a decent film. Until then, Fuck You Kevin Smith.
