Outzayyyy!! This movie was one heck of a ride. Robert De Niro was spectacular and Billy Crystal complemented him nicely throughout the film. A perfect comedy duet.

Cast Robert De Niro and Billy Crystal together in a film and it should be a suckers bet as to whos going to be funnier and whos going to give the more nuanced performance. Somehow, though De niro walks away with most of the laughs in Analyze this, a buddy action comedy about a mob boss de niro natch suffering from panic attacks who makes a nebbishy shrink crystal natch an offer he cant refuse.
a bit cheesy..billy crystal to me is not funny...weighs this comedy down a bit..deniro is passable in a typical mobster rolse with a touch of humor spiced in..
I bought both this nad its sequel. I love them both. Again with the psych aspect this time meshed with the comedy-antics of Crystal & De Niro. I loved it; then again I have nerd tendencies. lol

I like this movie a lot. De Niro has fun spoofing his mob persona while Billy Crystal fies as the shrink. His speech at the mob boss meeting is pure gold.
De Niro playing a ganster who goes to a shrink to get things worked out, brilliant. And with Crystal at his best, i really can't say much more than, FANTASTIC
Analyze This:Is a very good movie. I love Billy Crystal, and Robert De Niro and the rest of the cast. This movie told me that if you have anxiety talk to someone about it, dont go through life with it. I love this movie.
From director Harold Ramis (Groundhog Day) comes this smart script put onto a crime film in the tradition of Scorsese and Coppola. Great Godfather reference lol. Almost impossible not to laugh.
Altho its about psychotherapy AND the mofia, this movie lacks alot of psychotherapy. In fact, the change in De Niro's character from the therapy was completely unnoticable. Then there is the problem with the mofia aspect. There was bearly any worthwhile acting or even reason for one side to attack the other. It was a senseless battle due to hatred that doesnt even look like hatred. The only thing supporting this film alive are the actors but this script definitely doesnt support them. For crying out loud, the entertainment level of this movie is SO FREAKING low.
Billy Crystal, is the worst comedic actor known to man. I will give this half a star for somehow making it's way into a dvd player at a friends house and me being subjected to it.
wow what a movie..i have not seen this movie in ages but this is just such a funny movie....this has a good cast of actors/actressess throguhout the movie but then this is just so funny 2 watch.lisa kudrow is really fit n smart n this is 1 of my favourite movies because its really funny,enjoyable 2 watch..the director done a good job of directing this movie because you never know what 2 expect from this movie this is really funny 2 see n billy crystal is so funny throughout this movie
Funny film that's good for some laughs if you can forget that De Niro is probably the greatest actor of our generation and doesn't deserve to do stuff like this.
Funny movie with Billy Crystal as the shrink & Robert De Niro as the sissy mafia boss Paul Vitti. Good chemistry between De Niro and Crystal but I feel that the movie could have been a little bit more funnier.
