Zhou (Yeung) is police wunderkind dead set on arresting a feared crime boss (Ha Chi-chun) who sports an immaculate white three-piece suit and a riding crop, which she wields with lethal aplomb. While working on this case, Zhou and her colleagues must also contend with a killer with a grudge against the police after a cop shot the assassin's best friend. Soon subplot piles upon subplot, resulting in the original narrative line to disappear altogether, though the film is never short of eye-popping displays of kung-fu.
