Ming is also in love, and his starcrossed romance with the wealthy Maggie (Loletta Lee) brings him into opposition with her parents and prissy boyfriend, who deride the ragamuffin's criminal lifestyle. There are a few car chases and drag races to keep it lively, and fans of 1950s teen films from American-International Pictures might recognize a number of elements in this modern-day Asian update.
