It was like watching someone play Assassins Creed 2 but with no climbing, stealth kills, and flashbacks.

It's even better than The Da Vinci Code, way better. A masterpiece. Director, Ron Howard has done it again, crafting a film that's even better than the first and one of his best films ever. An awesome, stylish, thrilling, well-crafted and exhilarating edge of your seat thriller....( read more)

weirdly enough, another dan brown film that fares way better on paper than film, maybe because of his books' ludicrous and expository nature. give it a pass - even on DVD.

I liked this one unlike the "prequel" I dont know if Da Vinci code is its prequel. Why I liked this was because there were not much spoilers to read before this Movie came out, the problem with Da Vinci Code, many people pre-reviewed the Movie and when I finally saw it, I though...( read more)

Angels and Demons actually surprised me and turned out to be a somewhat decent movie. I really did not like The Da Vinci Code at all, but I also had read the book for it, and it was a horrible translation to film. Angels and Demons on the other hand I did not read the book, which...( read more)

Without a doubt, one of the best movies I've seen. Based on Dan Brown's book, Tom Hanks & Ron Howard team again.
Critic Reviews
Ron Howard directs a pell-mell script (David Koepp, Akiva Goldman) with more agility than he showed in Code. Though the story suffers intermittent daftness. full review
Angels & Demons is better, though not by much, than 2006's Da Vinci Code. The story, however, is less interesting and even more far-fetched. full review
Without pretensions to profundity, the movie can be enjoyed for the hell-raising hooey it is. full review
It's too lurid, too long. Too much is telegraphed. full review
Angels & Demons, without being particularly good, is nonetheless far less hysterical than The Da Vinci Code. full review
This kind of film requires us to be very forgiving, and if we are, it promises to entertain. Angels & Demons succeeds. full review
The perfect summer entertainment, an exhilarating, heart-stopping thriller that doesn't let up for a minute. full review
This overwrought chase/final-countdown movie is as banal as the genre comes. It's not a well-made action film; it's just expensively made. full review
The streets of Rome haven't run this red since the Inquisition. full review

January 4, 2010hon's movie 'angels and demons' was a great work although a little bit different what i read in the book.Vetra's daughter Vitoria was not around when her father was killed according to d book but in the movie she was the one who actually saw his dead body first.apart from such differences, it was a great work generally.

June 15, 2009still never watch it but i heard about the novel, i read the davinci code but the ending was too bad in a silly way. i think that demons & angels r much more better what do u think guys?
-
June 7, 2009there are something real in the film!but I think they want to cover the realiti of some other with the film!it shows many real thing, with actions,it's good but did the world know the spiritual value of this film?no!!

May 30, 2009If the 4th Cardinal had died, my $5 ticket was a waste, but haleluia it was totally worth it!

May 17, 2009I have to say the movie was good but too confusing, if I hadn't read the book i would have been lost! The book is way better. I didn't like that Vetra's father was excluded!obviously you cannot include everything in the movie if so it would have been a 4 hour movie!! but i also have to say that it would have been more interesting if they had deepen the Illuminati mystery and the simbols like the pyramid in the dollar bill.

February 1, 2009I read Angels and Demons about 2 years ago.
I gotta say, I loved it.
I love Dan Brown's work. I've read all his books so far and still waiting for the new one to come out.
