It?s been a fair while since watching this film, which was a childhood favorite of mine. A rags to riches tale with a heartwarming end. Great performances from Albert Finney and Tim Curry.

Good stuff, although the scary penultimate scene caused me to cry hard enough to make my mom rethink the appropriateness of taking a 4-year-old to the theater.

I haven't seen this movie since I was a kid. I remember I liked it back then. But my opinion may change if I ever watch it again. I remember I liked the music and the dance numbers. It also seem to have a good cast. But again I would have to rewatch this again to give a better r...( read more)
