    Not exactly the classic original, this one is the same, with Annie, the perpetually cute kid in the red outfit, and Daddy Warbucks, her ward.

    Loved this movie when I was a kid. I loved the songs and watched it over and over and sang the songs.

    Great musical! I was in this one, and it was a lot of fun. Great songs and very funny actors. I really like when she gets to Daddy Worbucks house and she escapes the clutches of Ms. Hannagian.

    yes i know, but my sister played this over and over, if me and brother wernt playing starwars, that is. and you know what, i grew to love it, its definatkly a guilty pleisure for me, and actually a pretty inpressive musical, interesting story, great song and dance numbers, corny as hell, but a great watch all the same

    I have the soundtrack for this, and I think I also have the video... I prefer the 1999 version, the girl is less annoying. :)

    I love this story.. in this version they actually get Annie out of the house b4 they get caught for trying to kidnap her. Well she is able to get away and she learns her parents are dead but she is adopted by Mr. Warbucks

    This is a kinda crappy version of the overdone play. . .even with Carol Burnett. The kid is totally creepy. But Tim Curry is awesome. But for a really good adaptation, see the one with Alan Cumming and Kathy Bates. That one rocks the casbah.

    Oddly, this was a childhood favorite and is actually pretty awful. I don't like musicals or children. Some good work by Ann Reinking.

    Cute music, cute kids and a genuine feeling that the sun will come out tomorrow. You can't help but smile. Plus Carol Burnette is always good

    This is the first movie I ever loved!! As a child I wore out probely 3-4 tapes by watching it so much!!!!! Love It!! It's my FAV!!!!!

    Never did like musicals on film much. This kind of "let's sing the whole freaking movie" is awfully painful.

    No, not my genre. Absolutely not. Singing is not good when it's repeated over and over again in a movie. It just isn't.
