I couldn't bring myself to watch this. How many hours would that stupid song be stuck in head if I caved and watched this? I just can't take that chance.

Hearing Alan Cumming sing Easy Street makes it worth it; but even without that, this film is a great re-make.

you do not, do not, DO NOT remake a movie like Annie and expect it to be good! Maybe if they modernized it? but it was set in the same time period!

Annie a good family movie...but there has been so many remakes of it the only one I have enjoyed is the one with Carol Burnette in it so I guess this rating is for that one....LOL LOL but all in all the story of Annie is enjoyable.

This version isn't as good as the one with Carol Burnette, but it's still decent. The softer side of Annie if you will.

Do you know why I own this move? Because of Alan Cumming! He's freaking awesome as Rooster. Actually, evryone is great in this classic musical. And the girl isn't all creepy. Remember how she didn't have eyes in the comic? What's with that?

Every since I watched "Misery" Kathy Bates frightens me. That didn't stop me from liking this movie though.

Another timeless classic. Annie is such a wonderful film. I really like it. My middle daughter at the age of 2 watched this film at least twice a day for 6 months. So yeah, i know all the dialogue and songs!

Nothing beats the darling appeal of the original movie and this update didn't really do much for me.

i love annie. and with all of these great musical theatre stars, i was expecting something pretty great. however, the movie was overall disappointing. especially with it's ludicrous ending (are you trying to tell me annie wouldn't RECOGNIZE mrs. hannigan??)

For an update of a classic, this movie isn't too bad. Generally, I feel that good original movies should be left alone. There isn't a reason for an update. The Tony winners in this film make it worth the watch. A heart-warming story about an orphan girl searching for her home through her trials and tribulations is definitely worth the watch.
