This sequel, with a different ape as Clyde, is still good fun despite being a notch down on Every Which Way But Loose.
A glorified remake of its predecessor with Clint Eastwood still kicking ass for money, Clyde drinking beer and mating with zoo inmates and a sex scene featuring Anne "Mrs. Fratelli" Ramsey. Top that off with Glen Campbell and you get another red neck classic that ranks up there with any of the crap Burt Reynolds was doing in this era. Hey, it's still better than Fire Fox.
Clint and his orangutan friend Clyde return in this sequel to 'Every Which Way But Loose'. This film features one of the longest fights ever filmed!
Right Turn Clyde. I love these 2 movies, along with Every Which Way But Loose, they are classic romps. Bar room fighting, country music, truck driving, feuds with bikers, just a roller coaster of fun.
I am not a big Eastwood fan some of his movies are really good but I don't think he is a great actor and he was pretty stiff in this movie as well. The monkey (yeah it is an aragangatagn but I can't spell that) kept me chuckling and the plot was decent but nothing special. All in all an ok time waster that doesn't give you anything special but provides for an ok two hours of wasted time.
3 stars??? Come On people~ ya can't jugde the greatness of this movie by today's cinematic standard~This is such a FUN movie to watch and it puts you Right IN one of my most favorite places, downtown Jackson! 4.5 STARS is even harsh for it's DAY!
A brilliant sequel, i watched this all the time and i still continue watching this film. Cult classic? Deffinitely
Again just like Every Which Way..Clint didn't get the recognition he deserved for this movie.RITE TURN CLYDE!!
A good if slighty odd comedy film about bare knuckle fights. Has some hilarious moments largely thanks to Clyde the Orangutan!
I was in Labor with my first child all day , I had to leave the theater to go to the hospital to deliver Her.
Who would have thought! Clint Eastwood in a comedy type flick. Certainly not me. Good thing HE didn't have to be funny, lol. Liked the action..pretty good flick all in all.
B+ Clint Eastwood movie, but still fun to watch, Clyde (the monkey) is hilarious when he takes on a Biker Gang!
With the whimsical Orangutan Clyde he continues the original movie: "Every which way but Loose" The Orangutan takes full front throttle on this one....
A great sequel to "Every Which Way But Loose". Clint Eastwood returns as Philo Bedoe and comes across the The Black Widows again. He runs into Lynn Halsey Taylor and get back together. Philo is up against Jack Wilson, a brawler from the east coast. A funny film with a lot of great moments. Sondra Locke, Geoffrey Lewis, and Ruth Gordon return also in this great film.
I rented this on DVD a couple of months ago... I wasn't as bad as I expected. Of course, this might be because of the orangutan. He should have been up for an Academy Award for best supporting actor.
Quite the same as it's prequel, yet totally different. Here it's all about The fight! (note the capital). Eastwood's Beddoe is forced in to meet fit, muscle-loaded William Smith (in Sweden probably most remembered as Falconetti in "Rich Man, Poor Man") in "a Hell of a fight!".
Filo Beddoe is a great character. I loved both movies he was in, but the best part of them is Clyde.
If any of my friends haven't seen this, don't put Not interested. Ask to borrow it from me and you'll soon change your mind!! It's so funny!!
Philo Beddoe the bare knucle fighter with Sandra Locke as his girlfriend & Clyde an orangutan as his sidekick and his wacky mom Ruth Gordon once again brawling his way to a big payoff.
just thought it would be funny to see - cos i heard some one mntion it once, and i thought the title was unny
