I sat through an hour and a half watching this load of crap. I wished that I hadn't wasted part of my life on this and now I'll never get that precious hour and a half back, thanks a lot!

Very much an aquired taste (no pun intended considering the three leads), but still loads of fun for those with a rather crooked sense of humour. It's unusual and completely off the wall, but there are some truly great gags. Those who haven't seen the Adult Swim show might be a bit lost, but a little homework goes a long way with the ATHF. Feels like a stretch as an 80 minute move, but ya gotta fear the 'insane-o-flex'. Check it out if you dare.

I was so very excited when I found out that this movie was going to be made, so much that even before I had seen it and even before it had been released I had had it on my favorite movies list.
Now, it wasn't that bad of a movie, I had to see it a couple of times before I had come to appreciate it as a fan of the show. The main reason for that is I went in expecting way to much, I'm not sure what I was expecting but whatever it was it was to much.
The first couple of times I saw it I didn't really laugh at all, but at about my third viewing I finally came to appreciate it for what it is and I even found a couple parts here and there amusing.
Now, the main reason I give it a score of 3 stars instead of a 5, is because although there are amusing parts in the film, and as loyal as I am to the show, I did not think that it could sustain itself for over an hour, I think that it should stick to the 10 minute segements on 'Adult Swim'. Not only that but this was really the first time we got to see the Aqua Teens in a rated R performance, and I didn't like it, they try to be funny by being dirty and that's when I have problems with films, I would much prefer it if it was like the early episodes of the shows running like seasons 1-3 when I would just laugh out loud because of some of the moments when they were just odd and dumb. Now they are trying to put jokes in their and that doesn't really appeal to me.

It wasn't bad but the story was straight out of crazy land (an exercise machine as an enemy? Okay then, whatever works). I did think the opening was the best part of the movie, the rest...I like the TV show better because because it's short, 80 beyond minutes of ATHF is just too much.

Aqua Teen is a stoner, slacker cartoon from Adult Swim on Cartoon Network. Having made a viral ad blunder before releasing their movie in 2007, (scaring Boston), they unleashed a full length disaster parody. Unfortunately, unless you are stoned to the point that you now have the mind of a 12-year-old with Downs syndrome, this movie won't make you smile even once. (If you do, it's gas). Older adults will get the myriad pop culture riffs, from War of the Worlds, (the TV show), Indiana Jones, Godzilla (terrible US version), Star Wars, ('I am your father! Noooo!'), playing Atari games, Maro Brothers games, the original Terminator, and various disaster adventure films. But they're just refererences so they never quite tell jokes about them. The literal running gag in the story seems to be that an excercise machine has been sent through time from the future, maybe by the Plutonians, (actually the past), actually the 1980s, and that snarky heroes Meatwad, Master Shake and Frylock put it together and it goes on a killing spree. Shake beats up on a mutant poodle in a spoof of The Hunk, from the mutant poodle scene in the first Hulk movie, (which sucked). The future Moon Men and Plutonians and Uranians (because Uranus is funny, heh), then learn about the machine from a future ghost robot of Christmas past, or something, (ala Terminator), and then it falls into Meatwad's hands, and the bungling idiots reassemble it. Lincoln appears also, possibly parodying the character from 1980s Licoln Logs commercials. The machine turns out to be a female robot (with a bit of sexist humor tossed in) and it lays eggs, like in the 'Godzilla' remake, and like in 'Jurassic Park' of which it rips off also. Everything is a toy commerical or a video game commerical. They reference Nintenso, Sony, X Box, and they are really a McDonald's Happy Meal with attitude, basically. They even reference media from VCRs to CDs to DVDs. And none of this is animated well. It's like a flash cartoon gone bad, all of it, like a 16-year-old stoner with two years of experience from computer class did this on his spare time. And what of the McD's stuff? Did McD's get royalties? Don't think so. Too bad there is nothing really funny in this story. The sex jokes are just wrong in this movie because they're objects, like shakes and a fry box, and it's really juvenile and stupid. (At one point they discuss how each of them could get laid and how to do it). It's amazing that the critics almost liked this movie, giving an overall **1/2 stars on many sites, because this is easily the worst cartoon movie of 2007, and should have gotten around a star. One star.

Just as crazy and witty as the show, the Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film For Theaters does not disappoint its fans.

"Aqua Teen Hunger Force" was genuinely funny in its first season, but shortly after that, the makers of the show began a trend of brutal/morbid humor, resulting in at least one of the characters dying a horrible, blood-soaked death each episode (think Kenny of "South Park", only much worse). That kind of humor just doesn't appeal to me. In its earlier days, it was just pure, inane fun, more on a par with "Family Guy", and I wish they had kept it there.

The super hero happy meal tries to stop the insane-o-flex along w/ a bevy of the series regulars along for the ride. Works better in 15 minute increments than as a full length movie.

Stopped watching halfway through. This show's genius in 15 minute doses. More than 30 minutes, however, was excruciating. Sad to say. Tsk.

Possibly the best movie ever made where the plot matters nothing into the film. Some piece of gym equipment is going to ruin mankind blah, blah, blah....its ATHF, and it's hilarious.

I don't like ATHF. I think it's lame and stupid. Why can't they make a film version of Home Movies? Pretty please!

Destined to be a fan favorite (and left at the $5.00 bins), Aqua Team has the best opening sequence for movies in the last couple of years. The rest of the movie? Not so good.

Little more than a feature length version of an ATHF episode. It has got its funny parts, and I can't believe I've waited this long to remember to type a lil review. Definitely rent/buy the DVD as there are some cool features about making the movie, and Patti Smith does the commentary along with her son, the guy who does Shake's voice, and some people from The Onion. It's pretty amazing to stretch ATHF's obscenely odd material into such a long piece, but the difficulty shows as I think this packs less laughs per minute than the 11 minute shows aired. Still ATHF fans HAVE to see this.

"Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film For Theatres" AKA = ATHFCMFFT (if I got this wrong I really don't give a sh*t).
As this cartoon goes though it's natural progression of seasons on TV, it has noticably gotten worse / just dumb -almost unwatchable. What happen to the PDA with Mindlink Function days, guess those days are officially over.
I thought maybe just maybe this movie would/could change my mind, nope it just confirmed it. This movie simply just demonstrates how to shape a pile-o-crap by a bunch of guys with no self control.
Pitty, like Ren & Stimpy before them - Frylock, Meatwad & Shake are terrific characters that deserve better than this.

    DVD WORTHY:
    Really...what's the point?
(But hey the DVD cover art is quite awesome!!)

    HI-DEF (Blu-Ray) WORTHY:
    I'm sad. :(

I was turned on to this TV show by a friend and I'll admit, in all it's sillyness, it's a guilt pleasure of mine. The movie is no exception. A lot like Robot Chicken, but the characters are foods.

Not a huge ATHF fan but loved the singing part before the movie started (no kicking the seats...) The crazy rapping fly was great too.

Where the simpsons film failed this one succeeded. Mostly because you can accomplish a lot more in an R rated film then you can in PG-13, yet aqua teen has always been funnier then tha simpsons.

Well this movie makes absolutely no sense, but maybe thats why I love it. You probably should watch an episode of ATHF before seeing this movie, otherwise there's a strong chance you'll be freaked out.

Matt & Dave let us down big time!!!
To ATHF Fans: think of the most boring show they ever did & multiply it by 87 mins.
To Non-Fans: skip it & go rent ATHF Seasons 1-4.

There's really not way to accurately describe the Aqua Teen Hunger Force or it's movie film for theateres. You really have to see it to understand what it is...and it's just of a matter of you finding it funny or not. I personally think they are hilarious, completely random, and absolutely insane. However, the movie is not much better than the tv series...but it's just as good. But if this is your first experience with them...watch the show first.
