This is the best family/comedy since home alone. It is hilarious! I couldn't stop laughing. I laughed so hard i just about cried. Ice Cube was good for this role. Probably the best ive ever seen him in.
(Ice Cube) plays Nick who works in a collectible sports store that has a crush on an attractive divorcee named Suzanne who plays (Nia Long) that works across the street. As he was headed over there to see her,he finds out that she's a mom. A mom that has the most troubled kids; which dosen't want their mom to date anymore guys. In a big rain storm Suzanne's car breaks down on the side of the road. As Suzanne was standing their trying to get help, Nick just happens to drive right pass her. Nick was thinking about leaving Suzanne, but Satch; which is imaginary bobble-head friend tells him to go back cause she is so fine. Satch said; "who cares if she has kids, go after her". So, Nick did and tried his best to help her out by starting Suzanne's engine with jumper cable's. As he was starting up the engine they started flirting and getting to know each other. They became best friends as he was taking her back home meeting her kids. Suzanne's kids didn't like Nick at all cause he was their enemy. After, Nick was taking Suzanne to work for 4 or 5 days, the next day she has to go outta town. That means Nick gets stuck with the kids cause he dcides to drive them up there, so Suzanne will like him even more.
So, Ice Cube is the baby-sitter and he goes through heck, driving them to their dad's house. So, laugh and have a great enjoyable ride, watching this hilarious comedy.

This wasnt what I wanted from the movie. I guess the trailer made the movie look more funnier which is their job. But I got let down by the movie and I didnt really like it. It's actually kinda weird. Nick looks after the Kevin and Lindsey these two kids that Suzanne has. Suzanne being the chick Nick wants to pick up offered to take her kids to her because of this work thing. But the kids dont like him at ALL. So basically at the start of the movie Suzanne likes Nick, but the kids hate him. Then in the end the kids likes Nick and Suzanne doesnt really until the happily ever after happens.

One of the worst movies I have ever seen in my life, and I've seen many. I hate it so much because it makes you think it will be great and then it really dissapoints. Just plain brutal.

Average film. I thought that the kids were funny and that Ice Cube played his role as good as he could, but I couldn't stand Nia Long's character...too cheesy!

''He played lady pac-man and had nightmares for a week.''

Not worth my breath or writing but here we go.

The Omen and Home Alone have already shown us that violent kids can either be very scary or very funny. This aims for funny but ends up terrifying.

Scowling teddy bear rapper Ice Cube plays Nick, a relatively blameless bachelor who tries to win the heart of a divorcée (Long) by escorting her two children (Allen and Bolden) to visit her on a business trip. The kids, however, are determined to screw up his chances, causing property damage and personal injury in a malevolent quest to keep their mother single.

The problem is, the evil lil' cuties are given no redeeming features by a script that rockets between its own lame set-pieces.

The problem is, the evil kids are given no redeeming features by a script that rockets between lame set-pieces. Ice Cube tries his familiar good-hearted playa routine, but even his charisma can't redeem the clunky dialogue or those demonic brats.

Best part overall, the credit's or using the Disc as a coaster...

I know it's unoriginal and not that great, but I still quite enjoyed watching it. A few bits that made me nearly laugh, but overall not a bad film to watch if you need something to do

I wouldn't jeopardize my EBay account status if this was a scam. My feedback is real and I will answer you on any question! Here is what you do. Click on the link below, register, pick an account type (referral is the easiest) and complete just 1 offer (Very important that you complete the 1 offer otherwise your account will sit in limbo until you do). This is not like other sites where you need to complete one offer on 2 or 3 different pages!!! And a lot of these offers are FREE trials with nothing else to buy...No commitments!!!

There are plenty of cool offers to choose from such as Blockbuster online, Stamp.com, Netflix, Gamefly which are services you would regularly sign up for anyways and their all secure networks, why not use them to get a free PS3 System or cash (I did the Stamps.com for a 30 day free trial and it never cost me a penny and I received credit for it the same day). Look at the offers and choose the one that works for you. After signing up and completing your one offer, simply refer 8-13 people (depending on the FREE prize you choose) to do the same under your link (just post the same thing as I have on eBay, and you'll get your referrals before the auction even ends.)

Then they will ship your Free gift or your selected item for free; No Joke, 100% REAL!!! The reason these companies make money, is because most people don't bother getting all the referrals. All you have to do is post it on EBAY! They use us as advertisement by word of mouth which saves them tons of money which goes toward yours and my free gift. These are legit companies such as Blockbuster, Netflix, Gamefly etc... You can copy my listing if you want. You must use your own authentic link though. "I love a happy ending! Hahaha!" (An actual quote from the film. Although in this case I wouldn't mind any ending...as long as it's over!)

Pointless family movies are another disease in Hollywood. Every year without failure the studios continue to roll out standard by-the-numbers family movies that are clichéd beyond all belief. Why do the studios do this? Simple - because they don't cost much to make and they are capable of pulling in stacks of money from the younger audience.

Are We There Yet? is yet another indescribably appalling mess of a family movie in the vein of those aforementioned clichéd family flicks. The only difference is that this film is one of the worst I have experienced in a long time, and it's a film that I wish had never come to fruition.

Nick Persons (Cube) is a swinging bachelor who meets divorced attractive single mother Suzanne (Long). As Suzanne leaves on a business trip, her ex-husband cancels his plans to take care of the kids...and Nick volunteers to take them. From there the film sinks into the world of clichés, predictability and just plain unoriginality as Nick takes the kids in his new car to Vancouver to meet with Suzanne. The two kids have never liked any of the men her mum has dated in the past...and of course try everything they're capable of to make the trip a nightmare for Nick.

It's typical black comedy we've seen millions of times before as things get destroyed and begin going from bad to worse (not to mention the complete implausibility of a deer turning into Mohammad Ali and beating the crap out of Ice Cube).

Are We There Yet? is the typical American family film strictly for the kids - i.e. corny lines, cheesy, happy ending, predictable, impossible events just for the sake of getting a giggle out of a child...gee, I could go on all day. I think it goes without saying that the acting, directing, screenwriting - basically the all round filmmaking is typical for the genre.

Ice Cube has done some good work in the past. I haven't seen any excellent work from him and I don't expect him to. But hell, he has got to make some good career moves. Anaconda, xXx: The Next Level and now this pile of manure. The two young performers playing the kids are both annoying little snots. We're not supposed to like them and hence have motivation to empathise with Ice Cube's situation. However it's a little hard to do this when it's really clear that the only reason Ice Cube's character is doing this is to get into the good books of a pretty woman. And this is supposed to be a film for the kids?

The ending was the final insult, and the last nail in the coffin. It's the same movie we've seen billions of times before with a different title slapped on it. Ice Cube...your career is over and all previous respect I had for you is gone.

As what the movie poster of "Are We There Yet?" says, it's the funniest family comedy since "Home Alone". Smooth operator Nick is trying to land a date with a divorcee, and he takes her kids on a trip from Portland to Vancouver on one bumpy ride. Playing Nick is rapper Ice Cube, who delivers us the funniest dialogue. Who says gangsta rapper can't act in family flicks? "Are We There Yet?" is a great film!

It doesn't even deserve a rating. This film made me want to gauge my eyes out just so I wouldn't have to watch it. Serious.

Are We There Yet? is exactly what it was meant to be, a film for the family. It has moments of comedy as well as moments of sincere heart-string tugs. It's a movie about a guy who has dedicated himself to himself. He is one of those guys who is all about the "blingage".
