well, I generally prefer the early (original) cartoon movies over the feature-film things, because the latter lack seriousness and sometimes are just too funny (to a point where it's just hilarious and not educational any more (in contrast to the cartoon versions)
Uhuu, Monica Bellucci managed to be a really good Cleopatra, though I've watched Asterix and Obelix when I was a kid so it bored me in some parts.
