05-26-08 --If you were blind and you had the chance to see for the first time in your life wouldn't you take that chance? People that were born blind or went blind at a young age they don't know anything else so, yeah its a hard transition. I wish they would have written in a little more understanding of that fact in this movie. Other than that good love story.
At First Sight contains the recall of sight to a blind man, but is more interested in the story of love between Kilmer and Sorvino.
Decent enough tearjearker in which blind masseuse Kilmer gets experimental surgery to retrieve his vision and how it affects his life. At times charming, this film never fully comes to life however.
Oh my goodness, the synopsis for this movie reminds me of the time that I got a rash on my inner thigh. The rash itched so bad that it burned, and all things that relieved that burned only did so by making a greater burn to forget about the lesser.
"A moving story of a blind man finally seeing light only to be crushed by the grips of reality.. but nevetheless has been able to pick up the pieces through love and inspiration"
