As the film progresses, Madan interacts with sundry dubious characters including a doctor named Rajani (Kalpana Kartik), a cop named Ramesh (K. Dhawan), and a young dancer called Leena (Geeta Bali). When the latter turns up dead, the crime is pinned on the hapless Madan.
