As a child Sung-ryong was unusually bright, but now he's in his late twenties and possesses the mind of a six year-old child. Even after the accident Sung-ryong never forgot about his childhood love Ji-ho, and these days the only thing that matters more to him is his younger sister Jee-in. By day Sung-ryong tries to raise the money needed to raise his sister by selling toast outside of her school, embarrassing Jee-in to the point where she no longer acknowledges her well-meaning but hopelessly dim brother. But there is one person who seems to understand Sung-ryong better than anyone else, and that's his lifelong friend Sang-soo. Later, when Sang-soo falls in with some dangerous gangsters, Ji-so continues to suffer psychologically, and Jee-in falls hopelessly ill, the man with the mind of a child solves all of their problems in a way that no one could have foreseen. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi
