The army has already shot down the father dinosaur, and so their own instincts are far from protective. A married couple stumble upon them and want to keep them safe from some jackholes who want to capture them and exploit the poor animals and the St. Bernard size BABY Bronto. Cutesy and Corney - it was the 80's what do you expect?
