The future begins - or ends - here and now. Here is the huge space station Babylon 5. Now is the fateful year 2261. Commander John Sheridan has already declared the station free, breaking the ties between it and Earth Alliance. It was perhaps only a matter of time before he would have to fight to remain free. That time has come in this complete 22-episode fourth-season adventure presented on six discs and featuring an exciting array of exclusive extras.
The best of all the Babylon 5 movies... it's perfect in every way--riveting, poignant, and a great future-setting "prequel" to Babylon 5 that's well-told by one of my favorite tragic Babylon 5 characters himself.
Big fan of B5 series and spinoffs. The characters are real with relatable flaws. Great story line and sub pots. I wish it had gone on for longer than 5 years. I even loved the crusade series.
I thank the lord for "Babylon 5", a great science fiction TV series. This is one of the great "Babylon 5" TV movies. The story reveals a lot about the creation of the Babylon stations and more history on the characters, too. a great story.
Whilst the B5 movies weren't the hottest out there by a long shot, they served the excellent sci-fi series well by culminating many of the long-running plotlines. In the Beginning was probably the best of these.
I'm a fan of the TV series, so I do quite enjoy this "prequel" of sorts. There were three other B5 movies after this, but this is probably my favourite.
