  Typical run of the mill Korean melodrama. The music is overbearing and the tragedy is forced with every emotion squeezed to such manipulative levels that it becomes sickening. The plot of a rich sleaze learning the value of life other than money is one that has been done a thousand times before. The acting is so-so for the most part, and it has enough charming supporting characters to make it through. The Sound of Music play wasn't given enough time to breathe but still managed to disrupt the flow and character development. Overall it missed on many levels.

  A good sad movie would have some kind of emotional buildup and a climax. This movie introduces a new first time actress <i>Yeon-hee Lee</i>. Short but sweet love story really picks up in the 2nd half of the movie and the beginning was OK. The cast was attractive and the acting was good. There were also a couple of cute scenes here and there that I liked. It might be a sappy love story as the summary title has stated, but it's just a beautiful story which will move one who is watching it.

  Just when a lazy millionaire gets a wake up call and starts getting his life straight, he loses that one person who made him want to make that big change. This little movie, reminiscent of A Walk to Remember, will either make you wonder if love does have that great power to make people change or make you cynical about the whole thing. While this didn't have me crying a river, it was sad enough to pull a string on my heart. Geez, I'm just a sucker for sad movies! lol.
