Loved he Shoe series and this is such an adorable little film. Emma Watson was adorable playing someone other than what we're used to. It was also nice to see some other familiar faces from the Harry Potter series.
I found this movie really good, though it was quite confusing at times. Also I found that the movie was based on the 3 Fossil sisters, but mainly only filmed Pauline Fossil (Emma Watson). I also found that Posy Fossil (Lucy Boynton) was really cute and very determined which was really good, but there would be only a few parts of her. Including that I found that Petrova Fossil (Yasmin Paige) was in enough scenes but didn't really show what she was interested in, of how she wanted to peruse it, until the end. And Finally, i found the end really confusing since to it felt like a cliffhanger, unless that's what the movie was supposed to end.
it was a cute movie, but i think i lost sight of what the ballet shoes had to do with anything except a small part in the story. so i was kind of lost, but hey that's just me.
it's really cute. i like it but like everyone else says- ending? wtf? anyway, emma waston can actually act and so can the other two girls. all the actors were good.
Not a bad interpretation of the book. The girls cast in the movie are a little older than I've always seen the Fossil girls in the book. I love Streatfield's Shoes series!
I really enjoyed this film. Bravo to Emma Watson for succeeding in exhibiting skills and talent in a genre far different from "Harry Potter". The story was interesting and the cast all had excellent chemistry together. The only bad thing was the ending, or rather the lack of an ending. I am not sure who edited the final scenes, but they did a horrible job. It was almost as if the film ended mid-sentence. However, if you are a fan of British television and films (and I am), this film was touching, heartfelt and definitely worth watching.
I'm so glad Emma Watson (of Harry Potter fame) chose to do a film that she got to show a bit more of her talent in. It's a quaint story about girls becoming women in a harsh time period. A little dodgie on the ending, but that was a directorial and editing issue, I think.
its about three young girls trying to get their names into the history book for something. its set in the early 30's around a family and of course the girls who are called the fossil's who are adopted by an explorer.
its an interesting plot with lots happening in it. good actors in this, its a lovely film, worth watching.
Unique, innovative and very fascinating. Loved Yasmin Paige. Thought she was absolutely brilliant. Wasn't too thrilled about Emma Watson in this movie, but she played her part well =)
I realllllllllllly want 2 c this movie aswell i csnt seem to find it in the DVD sections tho:( i'll keep trying until i find it! looks sooo good! i do ballet! hehe! XD
Warm feeling you get from this movie. Different seeing Emma Watson here, but she just proves yet again that she is a really god actress.Just lok at the scen when they are in the bathroom! Every other person in this movie was very good too, I especially liked Yasmin Paige who played Petrova, the russian girl. She was really good.
Here we go! THIS ONE RIGHT HERE is the newer versions page. Starring Emma Watson. NOT the other one. This one was remarkable. I like the ending, and my favourtie part was when Pauline (Emma) had her screen test, not the filming, the black and white screen test.
