seeing bambi get shot was perhaps my first traumatic moment as a child...in retrospect, that may resonate with nearly everyone close to my age...
One of the saddest moments in Disney movie history is when Bambi's mother dies. Not only that but the nameless responsible hunter was voted one of the greatest villians of all time, by the AFI. Truly a Disney Classic.
Excellent one of the few cartoons that I really enjoyed at the movies with my children.
