Critic Reviews from Rotten Tomatoes

"Belial is settling down and growing up - but unfortunately his domestication is also the film's. For all the creature effects and gore on offer here - not to mention bad acting and risible dialogue - Basket Case 2 feels cosily tame."
‑ Anton Bitel, Eye for Film
"Fans know exactly what they're in for. But make sure you see the Part 1 first ... it's a whole lot better."
‑ Scott Weinberg,
"Another installment from Henenlotter that fails to competently tell a story."
‑ Felix Vasquez Jr., Cinema Crazed
"Henenlotter's obvious love for his flagship characters that ensures he delivers another great slice of schlocko fun."
‑ Alan Simpson, Sex Gore Mutants
"Fans of Henenlotter's original will find things to admire."
‑ Ken Hanke, Mountain Xpress (Asheville, NC)
