Basket Case 3: The Progeny
In this the third of the Basket Case series, the offspring referred to in the film title are a dozen mutant babies sired by the Siamese-twin mutant, Belial Bradley and his new-found love, the mutant Eve. The babies are spotted by some Southern sheriff deputies and whisked back to the station. Belial comes to the rescue when he creates a mechanical robot-type exoskeleton of himself which he manipulates as it faces off against the sheriff deputies. Extra-ordinary special effects are the forte in this Basket Case issue, said by some to be the very best effort.

Critic Reviews from Rotten Tomatoes

"Here, normality is relative, while batshit comes on tap... No matter that the humour is uneven when there is so much jaw-dropping insanity to spare."
‑ Anton Bitel, Eye for Film
"Henenlotter ends his story on a thud with a third film that fully embraces the comedy aspects of Belial's journey..."
‑ Felix Vasquez Jr., Cinema Crazed
