This was an awesome movie!!! I loved it! We rented it 1 wekk ago and I've watched it 3 times already!
-
Never thought I'd enjoy this movie so much, but it really did surprise me in how well done it was, especially for a blockbuster.
-
The best Batman movie to date. This one sets the whole story up better than the ones that came out in the '90's.
-
This movie is the best superheroe film ever made! It shows us the human part of one of the most famous heroes of all history, Christian Bale is superb in the part and all the supporting actors are more than amazing. So dark, so thrilling, so stupendous script, itīs just superb! I liked this movie because they don't focused in the special effects they focused on the story, on the character and his internal problems. I think that what makes Christopher Nolan's version so good is that he took the character and creted his own version, his own city, his own heroe, his own story not like tim Burton that he took his movie and maked it just like the comic that's something that makes Nolan the stupendous director he is. I just loved this movie and I am waiting for the second part, I'm asking for it.

A serious, reverent movie. It really takes its time to explain the origins of Batman. The character doesn't appear suited up until over an hour into the movie. When he finally does, however, the movie takes off and it's an entertaining and well acted story.

Definitely does well with the dark, brooding image Batman has had in the last twenty or thirty years. But where's the love for Adam West?

We know that comic books are children's favorite, but do we have always find it cartoonish and childish? Probably that's why Batman Begins is destined to be happened. It answers the question, and the answer is NO.
Batman Begins is the most REALISTIC, probably the darkest superhero movie ever made. And I was happy because they no longer fool us around with the battle of CGI creatures that caused danger and damage to the city, and end up to be ridiculous and non-sense. Christopher Nolan is always been my favorite director and we all know how he serves movies. Dark, with a making-sense reality bites. So, this is what we got in Batman Begins. I can say that he has strong sense about the casts, all were perfect for the role, and to mention the honorable one, Christian Bale, who lifted the face of Batman after it was ruined by George Clooney. And there are no nipples here, that's for relieve.
The other shown powerful performances, Ken Watanabe, Liam Neeson and Michael Caine were very convincing, and Cillian Murphy should receive an honor, he successfully played the villain part as Scarecrow. (although I'm not sure if his performance is still be a memorable one after The Dark Knight comes out, and Heath Ledger made the top of it as The Joker.) Maybe the only shameless factor this movie got is that they were on drugs or something when they picked Katie Holmes to play Rachel Dawes, for the love interest. It's the dumbest thing they've ever done for THE BEST SUPERHERO MOVIE EVER MADE. -
I liked Batman and Batman Returns until I saw this movie. Then I realized this is how Batman should've been done to begin with. Full brutal darkness banishes the quirky otherworlds and homoerotic lightshows Tim Burton and Joel Schumacher offered up in the past. Christian Bale almost perfectly balances the roles of both Batman and Bruce Wayne and the rest of the cast (Michael Caine, Liam Neeson, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, Cillian Murphy) is boner-inducing in their supporting roles. Batman Begins is damn near perfection as far as comic book movies go but has me very excited and very hopeful for The Dark Knight.

amazing movie. Christian Bale and Cillian Murphy are amazing actors. though I'm not usually fond of Katie Holmes i must say that this performance redeemed her.
"Its not who i am Underneath but what i Do that Defines me" -
I loved this movie, it is the best adaption of Batman to date. I liked how it creates a sort of modern feel for the movie, while staying true to the classic plot. Awesome cast and great action.

The best comic-book film ever? Let's wait and see THE DARK KNIGHT before making any such pronouncement. :)
-
It was what the franchise needed. A Bruce Wayne to relate with, a determined heroine, a good character development, and a nice packed script. What wasn't done very well was the expansion of villians in it. They were in no way impressive or creative.
-
Batman Begins strips away the campy style of the past films and adds a more realistic and closer to the comic origins touch.
-
good movie. Christian Bale is a good actor, so is Morgan Freeman. the only 2 reasons y i watched the move and it turned out to be good anyway....now thats a movie
-
It's not bad movie but no good movie too! It's only average film and it is useful when you have free time.
-
love this movie! Christopher Nolan has captured how Batman really is. It's a nice and dark film. Highly recommended.
-
Christopher Nolan's rendition of The Batman is the closest we'll get to how Batman is if Batman existed in the real world.

"Bruce Wayne:
They told me there was nothing out there, nothing to fear. But the night my parents were murdered I caught a glimpse of something. I've looked for it ever since. I went around the world, searched in all the shadows. And there is something out there in the darkness, something terrifying, something that will not stop until it gets revenge... Me. "
Best Comic Book Movie Of All-Time.
The Black Crusader Of The Gotham City is my childhood hero.First of all,I have to say I never liked Tim Burton's Batman.Even though I liked Tim Burton. And of course i watched the movie when it released,I'm just writing a late review.
This is what I've been waiting for my whole life.Warner Bros made a smart move for Christopher Nolan to direct it.
Christopher Nolan, the mastermind behind 2000's 'Momento', widely praised as one of the most innovative films of the decade. As director/co- screenwriter, Nolan creates a richly dark, atmospheric world for Batman to inhabit, similar to that of the Burton films, but better than that in every aspects.Being a fan of Nolan's previous work, I went into this with high expectations, and yet somehow, I'm fully satisfied. The film's screenplay, written by Nolan and David S. Goyer is quality stuff. And Chris did every move to make it a perfect.Batman Begins is well written, well-shot and combines amazing special effects, set design and acting to form a perfect final package. This is without a shadow of a doubt, the best comic-book movie I have ever seen.Batman Begins is much darker than Richard Donner's beauty, but the evolution of both main characters from youths, coming to terms with who they are, to caped crusaders is depicted in a similar way. As far as the actual crime fighting goes, this movie puts right everything that was done wrong in Batman Forever and Batman and Robin. Our hero's weapons are not covered with blinking lights, but sober and practical: no computer controlled Batarangs, but ninja stars shaped as a bat. No design costume, but military armor, decorated with a cape and mask. The Batmobile is no skyscraper climbing super car, but a rejected army vehicle put to new use that befits the general atmosphere of this movie. Batman doesn't fight villains in shiny outfits who fly around on supersonic gliders or have tentacles as arms. The bad guys in this film are: gangsters, a corrupt warden of a psychiatric ward, a martial arts specialist and lots of crooked cops.
This is easily the most serious, intelligent, and adult of the batman films. It is well filmed, relentlessly fast-paced and intelligently scripted. Batman Begins also sports a phenomenal cast. but besides that What is really important about this film? Christian Bale.

Him as a Batman really worked. Never before has any television or film truly captured the intensity, the ferocious growl, the unstoppable passion that Bruce Wayne has.I can't praise Christian Bale enough as the man who dons that mask. He has all the strength and wily intelligence behind his serious good looks and makes the perfect embodiment of the action hero he is portraying. Firm of jaw, direct of gaze, he makes an excellent hero.
He became perfect Batman.Nobody isn't suited this role than him.
Praise too for Cillian Murphy, who makes the most of his Scarecrow role behind a mask of creepy blandness, underplaying his role (as most of the others do) so as not to become a caricature, as so often happens in these Batman enterprises. If it's a series of running gags that you expect--as from previous Batmans--you won't find them here. The thrills come one after another, set pieces that are astounding to watch. The supporting cast is also extremely good, including such great actors as Michael Caine, Liam Neeson and Morgan Freeman. This cast takes the movie far beyond just a comic book film.
Batman Begins is a dark film, centred on strong themes of fear, over coming demons of your past and the fight for justice in a corrupt world. Unlike many comic book films, this film is not in anyway aimed at children. It is not strictly adult in nature, but follows intelligent character development, adult conflict and complex portrayals of the characters. Most comic book films introduce your hero as good because he wants to save the world and the villain bad because he wants to take over the world.
The following will reveal the story.
As a boy a young Bruce Wayne watched in horror as his millionaire parents were slain in front of his eyes, a trauma which led him to become obsessed with revenge but his chance is cruelly taken away from him by fate. After disappearing to the East where he seeks counsel with the dangerous but honorable ninja cult leader known as Ra's Al-Ghul, he returns to his now decaying Gotham City overrun by organized crime and dangerous individuals manipulating the system whilst the company he inherited is slowly being pulled out from under him. The discovery of a cave under his mansion, and a prototype armored suit leads him to take on a new persona, one which will strike fear into the hearts of men who do wrong - he becomes, Batman. In the new guise, and with the help of rising cop Jim Gordon, Batman sets out to take down the various nefarious schemes in motion by individuals such as mafia don Falcone, the twisted doctor/drug dealer Jonathan 'The Scarecrow' Crane, and a mysterious third party that is quite familiar with Wayne and waiting to strike when the time is right.
Best Comic Book Movie Of All-Time.
[Followed by The Dark Knight (2008)] -
great fucking plot christian bale does a great job as batman and morgan freeman was good at lucius fox. cillian murphy deserves and oscar for his rolethe scarecrow, it was a great villian. 5 stars
-
Bale is erfect for this role! he is mysterious, dark, deep and inteliigent, cool and penetrating. He stature and demnor is played to perfection against the cartoon/ comic Batman. He is brought back an old icon with renewed emphasis, entusiasm and enegry. We can believe in a Btaman, this Batman...we can dream that he is out there because Bale pump life into it. With great supporting line-p like Caine, Freeman and Neeson, the movie keeps moving even when there are no ation of special effects. These actors bring in an air of sophistication that a billionaire would have been srrounded by. Bruce and Bale seems synonymous now. Nolan, the director really kept the film beautiful, giving only waht need to be seen and heard--nothing seem out of place or haning loose; one is satisfied at the end of the movie!
-
Christian Bale does a fantastic job as the new batman. Not what I had expected in the Batmen series. Great director and writers
-
Great performances in a plausible explanation for the rise of Batman. Low-key villans allow Batman to become the central figure of the story. Overall, the film even beat's Burton's over the head with a stick.
-
A very dark, but strong developmental movie that, of course, focuses on Batman's beginnings and how he becomes the Dark Knight.
-
Batman Begins? No, Batman Kicks Some Ass, that's what Batman does. Seriously, this is probably one of the Greatest Comic Book Adaptation I've Ever Seen and Cillian Murphy deserved an Oscar for his performance as the menacing 'Scarecrow'...
